some skank facts: Bus from Pai to Mai: gotta make sure you get a seat as lots of back packers. The road is shaped like a roller coaser so maybe travel on an empty stomach. The man action in Pai is undoubtedly the backpacking condom packing Euros, Aussies and Americans. Soem nice ones to be had and the Thai guys are getting plenty of action.

That is a good point: Italian is my second favourite native language for girls, the first is Brazilian Portuguese. They are musical and sexy languages, ideal for a female voice while she talks BS before you profane her sacred holes.

I am reading every day every new posts here about Thailand cause after been 2x in Russina, Brazil and many times in Czech and Slovak Republic, I am looking forward to go to magic Thai. I am Italian so what do you exactly mean as favourite language for women? I prefer spanish or even Russian language I like, Italian, probably cause it is mine language, but I don't like so much, specially when woman speaks Italian...it most of time means. NO GFE! Lol but TRUE!

I will be working in Ubon Ratchathani in the new year. I notice there is nothing in the forum at all about action in that part of Thailand. It seems that nothing much happens in eastern Thailand. However, I refuse to believe that the locals there are all monogamous. Surely, there must be parlours, fish bowls, go-go bars, soapies .... something in Ubon Ratchathani.

Does anyone know what the scene is like there?

If not, can anyone point me in the right direction for a parlour or soapie?

Can anyone give me a contact number?

Finally, if all else fails ... can someone tell me how to ask the tuk-tuk driver to take me to the right place?

If I discover anything, I will post it here for sure.

I went to Ubon 2 times before. It is not very active in monger scene. There are karaokes where you can take out ladies. The hotel bell boy introduced me 2 places. One is near the corner of Krung Thong Hotel. And I also went to another one near Regent Palace Hotel. I do not remember the both names because only Thai signs. The level of girls was not so good. Korat, Khon Khen, Udon are all better in choice. And the mama quote me a off-fee of 700 at the first place and 650 at second place and then you have to pay tip to lady yourself, mama said about 1500. So I only had some beer and left. Did not have a good selection.

There is a big disco at Nevada Grand Hotel. There were amatures and also part timers. That was where I picked up my company both times. You can ask your hotel for the karaoke location. I think there are only 2-3 major ones in the city. Then you can try the disco scene at Nevada Hotel. I am mot aware of any soapie there.

Just curious, but was wondering what kind of job you found for yourself in Ubon? Sorry, but I don't have any current info for you on the Ubon mongering scene but I know that it is a sizable city and am sure that your pecker won't start growing any moss. I also suspect that since you'll be living there, especially if you can speak some Thai, that a bunch of freebies will become available to you.

There are a couple of karaokes and massage parlours tucked away, but I can't remember any directions or addresses- just ask your hotel, tuk-tuk driver or bartender.

I've stayed at the Tohsang Hotel. Nothing special, but serves its purpose, and no problems returning with a girl. If you find a better hotel please let me know.

One of the nicest hotels in Ubon(think it is called 'Patumrat') has a soapie attached to it.It is on the main road.If you walk out of the hotel and turn right there is a small market area and a little bit behind that is a small red light area with a go go and a karaoke.

Not far from Patumrat across the road ,as you walk out to the left,is another very nice and big hotel which has a disco in the basement and an entertainment area with a cinema attached to it.

Or just ask a tuk tuk to take you to the 200 baht girls.

I can't seem to find anything about Ko Chang here. Unfortunately the search omits Ko as it's too short a word, so Chang isn't much use as lots of mongers drink that in Thailand. :)

Anyway, thinking of going there in a couple of weeks, I live in Pattaya. Is there any sort of scene there? How about non working girls, easy to pull? I'm quite young and not bad looking.

There is plenty happening on Koh Chang. The main area is at White Sands Beach, where there are a couple of bars in the middle of the township. Going south (towards Kai Bai) you can find a large beer bar complex on the left side of the road - probably about 10 bars, and more than 50 ladies.

Further south at Kai Bai there is a nice beer bar on the main street, opposite the 7/11 right as you hit the township.

Prices seem to be quite high ie think Bangkok rather than Pattaya - I was there with my girlfriend, so cannot give first hand experiences.

No idea about the freebie scene, but I imagine it would be not much diferent from the rest of Thailand.

I be going there tomorrow. Should reach in the late afternoon, Hope I could find a nice room that cost not more then 2300B on white sand beach.
