I was in Dong Hoi briefly a while back and popped into this hotel to get a massage. Nice facilities, good sauna / steam room and jacuzzi. Price was about 200, 000 VND can't remember exactly. I don't think asking for price up front can be considered a bad thing. If nothing else, it opens the opportunity to negotiate and it's always nice to know what you're getting into, then relax. I missed all of the hot toc action in NT last time there (went with no research). Nha Trang will be on my list for upcoming trip as it is relaxing, and I now have some better information.

It took a little time to find a place with some extra's but there is at least one. Its Called Co So massage and its a bit out of the main beach. Take a scooter or taxi and drive north from the main beach. From there its around 4 k. First you pass the small strip with all the seafood places and then will come some other resorts on your right. Keep on driving until you are in the little village. Just (not the big village) just after that you cross a very small stream. After this its 20 meters on your left. There is a small road. overview: le loi is the main street along the river; a short street called pham ngu lao intersects le loi. two bars (dmz and why not) are at the ends of pham ngu lao. it seems pham ngu lao is the "center" of the tourist activities.

on pham ngu lao, you will be pestered by cyclo and moto-bike drives with offers of girls. they have list of numbers of girls on their phones; they will also offer to drive you to places (i believe it will be cheap hot tocs; they "said" it would be $10 which includes everything)

all over town (especially around big c shopping mall) , there are ktv places and massage / sauna places in many of the 3 star hotels; i peeked in once at a massage place; they said the ticket was $10.

bad experience number 1: i decided on a delivery. a moto-bike driver called a girl to come to pham ngu lao. she came over; she was decent. first the guy said $40 for 1 hour, then $30, then "how much?". i said 500k dong ($25) ; i also told him, i need just bj and cim. he said yes yes (of course i was very leary of his answer; you can't trust touts). i met the girl at my guesthouse.

The only proof of P4P action I experienced last time in Hoi An was a market stall owner (youngish, cute lady) asking me if I wanted her to organise "a lady for tonight".
