I decided to go to one of my old favorite places before the rain resumed: Clinica Shori [url]http://www.clinicashori.com.br/[/url]. I love that place, I’ve never had a bad session. Many people come from Sao Paulo to go there, but really the rich, mostly with helicopter (the club has its own heli-station). Also Sao Jose has many rich people (one of the richest Brazilian cities). Basically, it is nothing that would make it really worth going there compared to other, much cheaper high-end clubs in Sao Paulo, except if you don't want to be with the "normal folks", it is simply the price that keeps the rich isolated from the rest. I just have been there once when it was quite new and the drinks and entrance were more expensive than in similar clubs in Europe or US (don't remember the exact prices any more).

The ones with websites are more difficult, but if you go to the local newspapers I would say that almost 50% of the "real freelancers" will charge only R$300. The problem is that you need to speak enough Portuguese to communicate with them. The worse your Portuguese is, the more many will charge you. But if you just try long enough, you will find one as there are plenty of really "honest" girls that are happy to get a foreigner, especially if you are from Europe (Brazilians are often quite rude). Then good service is also almost guaranteed. I do this most of the times and I would say that. Even though you don't see the pictures. Around 3 out of 4 girls were very good (of course, if they're not nice on the phone or you feel that you talk to an agency, just forget it immediately and try another number!).

On the streets and with some contacts (e. G. If you take the same girl for the second time) you can usually get even cheaper prices.

However, if you take them a longer time, the rates hardly go up (so if you pay e. G. 250 for 2 hours you will only pay maybe 500 for the night). The good thing is that 90% of the pictures are real (plus of course plenty of photoshop-tuning), which you hardly have in any other country.

Cheaper and usually almost equal quality (of course, you don't see what you get, but also photoshoppers are often far from reality althoug basically real) are the girls from newspapers.

Many of the girls (even the ones from the websites) work in brothels during the day, often quite simple and cheap brothels (R$50. R$80 / hour). They charge significantly more for outcalls (they have more risk and spend more time). But when you visit them once or twice in the brothel and you come along well, you can mostly get them much cheaper (I had them even for free multiple times!) than on the websites. You can however mostly not take them home directly, but take a phone number or make a date.

Please note that the girls and the prices from GPGUIA are mostly indicating the girls from the websites and hence the prices appear to be higher than they are.

So you will hardly find "standard rates" on the websites and if you do, stay away. Agency girls that have a pimp mostly provide bad service. In the beginning, I hardly called those girls as I though that they're probably very expensive. Just try them if you feel they're really hot (and many of them are!).

The flat prices go from R$500 / month to no limit (of course, excluding the places where you never should go as a foreigner!). But there is nothing like a "best place" or a really safe place in SP, the city is simply too big and rich and poor too close together. As a foreigner I would always stay in a hotel if you don't speak the language and if you don't know the local habits (especially regarding how to take care for your security). Brazil is in my view the best mongering place in the world, but if you don't know the rules of the game, you are in VERY big danger. I further never had a non-girl friendly hotel in Brazil, so pay the few extra bucks for your safety.

Privates:

In my opinion they are the best way to get laid for little money and then pick up the good girls' phonenumbers. The following addresses are already some months old, so not 100% sure if they are all still valid. But I would especially recommend the area around Rua Loefgreen / Metro Santa Cruz. There are at least 6 privates in <5 minutes walking distance that all cost between R$50 and R$70 per hour and many have pretty girls (levels 3. 8, most only have 4 women, so sometimes you just need to go from one place to the next one).

Definitely, Brazil is the best country!

SP compared to Rio:

1) Safety: SP wins

Rio is full of sex-tourists and Rio is the most criminal city in the world. Although SP is not safe, it is much safer than Rio and a tourist will not call so much attention. SP is a business city and. Although close to Rio. Much more European, so in case you are a very white or even blonde caucasian you will not call that much attention.

2) Girls: Rio wins

Depends what you want. But Rio definitely has a huge sex-industry and it is much more foreigner friendly. So you will find more girls and I think even pay less. SP has higher choice of girls. But if you don't know the city and the language, it is much harder to find them. Also the discos of SP are full of normal girls and many of them are difficult to get (not impossible, but this should be subject to another report.). Rio is much poorer and the discos, especially in the tourist places, are full of freelancers. Still, I like SP more, but it took me some years to realize this.

3) Location: Rio wins

Rio is the most beautiful city in the world. Sao Paulo probably among the ugliest ones (again, if you know the city, you can life there extremely good). In SP you will be lost if you don't have local friends (or stuck in your hotel and some small places). In Rio you just go to the beaches, sugar loaf mountain, etc: nice places and girls everywhere. Still, I like SP more, but it took me some years.

Rio & SP compared to rest of Brazil:

Salvador: Salvador is a dirty city, but has some nice historic buildings etc. And you can still find plenty of girls that just like & fuck you because you're coming from a rich country and because they simply like to have sex there. It's much easier there to find a real girl-friend (ok, pay her some dinners, etc. Last time I fucked one lady for one week and paid her clothes for just around R$100, plus some food & drinks before we went to the action). Again, there are too many foreigners and hence lot of criminality against foreigners.

South: Safest place, nice cities and beaches etc.. In the summer & holiday period you can find the beaches and tourist places full of freelancers. The rest of the time it's more difficult. As in whole Brazil, there is plenty of action, but you need to find the clubs etc. Of the locals. I especially recommend Curitiba, where I had one of my best trips. But also Porto Alegre, Florianopolis etc. Are fine. Prices are for sure higher and you will hardly find a girl that only fucks you because you're a foreigner if you're not a Leonardo di Caprio.

Inside the country / no-man's land (ok, this is really a big area): The smaller the city, the less dangerous it is, no matter how poor the people are. Although there are nightclubs or at least street action almost everywhere in Brazil, I love those small places for the normal girls. You can easily (of course, some Portuguese helps) find a nice girl, tell her some interesting stories, invite her, and she will be your girl-friend immediately. Take care, if you buy flowers the next day she will do everything for you, but don't break her heart too much (Brazilian rednecks in such an area would never do this!). Best place to meet are the small parks that are usually in the middle of each city and where there are always some bars and the whole city meets each night. Best is to talk to a group of women, don't be too aggressive as everybody knows everybody and it might make the women a bit shy.

I will try to post some more reports on Brazil (and actually on Thailand) during the next weeks. But it's hard too find enough time.

I agree 100% with that statement. My fisrt impression of São Paulo was negative. I felt lost in that huge city because I was then unable to orient myself. When I was looking therer were only tall buildings looking all the same.

But I don't totally agree with Palsinao when he wrotes that São Paulo is an ugly city. Of course there exist parts of the city that are incredibly ugly but in the same time other bairros offer a good environment. I think for instance of some parts of Jardim, Moema or even Morumbi (not too close to the favela though).

If you like architecture there are some buildings that are worth seeing in Sampa. I think for example of Edificio Copan, Martinelli, Estacion da Luz and so on.

Another place worth seeing is: Parque da Independencia where is located the Museum of Sao Paulo (in Ipiranga).

Now, when people stop me in the streets to ask for direction, I know the city so well that I can help them to find their way in the city. Moreover, as I am fluent in Portuguese (with probably a funny French canadian sotaque (accent)) it,s quite easy to find women (non pro) or to have good relationships with GDP.

I wrote it several times in this forum: If you're a tourist with almost no knowledge of the culture or the language Rio is still the best place for you.

I agree that Sao Paulo is not one of the best places on earth: because of traffic, pollution, climate, etc.
However, saying that Rio is the best city in the world seems too much to me.
IMHO that city is not nice at all. Many times I have been there, finding it ugly and very dirty. Here in Brazil itself I prefer Belo Horizonte or Curitiba or even Brasilia.

I would word it this way: Rio's BAY is one of the most beautiful places in the world ... but unfortunately someone decided to build a city right there.

I was given a tour of the upstairs, on the 3rd level (2nd level is an additional sitting area), 4 small rooms without doors or beds, only sofas, which reminded me of karaoke rooms but without doors. It was confirmed that bedrooms would be illegal, however if I did not want to take a girl to my hotel I could get the same action in any of these rooms. All of them were empty and dark when I visited. Not my thing.

My favorite Isadora immediately recognized me but turned down USD200 and stated she would not go for less than USD250/R$400. But I had decided I was going to pay less than R$400 tonight or I would go to bed. Once she figured it out she french-kissed me and left... Ended up with Myriam instead, a tall brunette who works as a hairdresser during the day, 24yo, pretty, said I would never forget her, which I seriously doubt. She quickly agreed to USD200, which in my book is still a lot of money, and was friendly but CBJ and not the wild sex I could have had with Isadora. Oh well...
