I hadn't been to Sosua since summer of '04. First let me say that I am thankful most dudes aren't very particular or I would either have had to work very hard or pay premium for decent talent. I was able keep the prices at mininum, thankfully but it was no where near the ridiculus pocket change I was paying in '04. The initial asking price was out of sync with quality of the talent but the partying was great. Definitely still one of the favorites.

Its nice over here in Sosua bad some girls are getting bad more and more. As I still have fun with my girl which is visiting me during timetime in my room I also shaking around with other girls.
Yesterday on the beach I meet this pretty haitian girl. At the beginning she was really nice and we had fun together in the bars at the beach. I just have one question. Due to time constraints, I can only do a 4 day 3 night trip. I've read up and down these posts and reports and I still can't determine which is the nicest Chica Friendly Hotel in the area!
I've read the posts about the usual places like Europa and BB's, but am hoping to stay somewhere more upscale. Any feedback would be most appreciated.

I would go Field of Dreams.... though not palatial bedrooms - they are clean and comfortable... the place is secluded yet handy to Sousa and POP and BBs... hell Billy will help get you around.
The upscale alternatives are generlly not chica friendly though one a night could be done with a few bribes/extra fees.

About the same price but more quiet. Also check out Hotel Residential up the street from the Europa. About $50 / night. Also, Field of Dreams is about 20 mins from Sosua.

You can either rent a private villa (try Googling something like "Sosua villa rental") or you can take a room at a more upscale hotel like Piergorgio or Sosua-by-the-Sea and then take your chicas to a short stay place--Calypso--for $10 each time, or rent a secondary room at the Europa to use for amatory purposes. I would rent a room at the Europa for the duration.
To stay at one of the upper tier hotels in Sosua, you may get a better rate by purchasing the hotel room in a package with your airline ticket.
Field of Dreams is no more upscale than the Europa--or only fractionally so--and is not terribly conveniently located for Sosua.
Three nights is ample for an enjoyable stay. It may even be the optimum length of stay. I am sure that wherever you decide to room, you will have a great time in Sosua.

A round-trip ticket from Brussels to Puerto Plata cost me 298€, including all taxes (149€ for each leg).
- The allowance for checked in luggage was 25 kg.

- On the way there, we made a 30 minute stopover in Punta Cana.
The tourist card, which costs 10 USD, was included in the price of my ticket. And there was no departure tax (20 USD) to be paid when I left.
A taxi to the airport costs 600 DOP. But if you ask at hotel reception, they can get a motoconcho to fetch you a “carro publico” for just 300 DOP (+ 30 DOP for the motoconcho).

Rocky’s was by far my favorite restaurant. The first 2 days in the DR, I had the runs. Once I started eating at Rocky’s, that was a thing of the past. The food is prepared fresh, so the service may be a tad slow, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
Ted (the bartender) is a great guy, who has some fascinating stories to tell. At the start of my trip, he was proud to tell everyone he had a girlfriend. A few days later, he was single again.
Unlike in most other restaurants in Sosúa, the menu prices are net – tax is already included and no service charge is added. So don’t forget to tip Ted; he basically lives off his tips.
Marco (the owner) has quite a picture collection, which he may be willing to share with you. The “Doubleicious” collection features some great shots!
The kitchen at Rocky’s closes rather early (between 10 and 10.30 PM). After that, your best bets are the roadside food vendors or PJ’s, which is open 24 hours.

Motoconchos cost a flat 20 DOP around town. As in Thailand, they’ll charge you double for 2 people. As it’s the same price, I prefer to take separate motoconchos in that case – one for me, one for her. It’s safer and you spread the wealth.
Being cheap when it comes to transportation, I walked everywhere. Most chicas were made to walk from Clasico to my hotel as well – I tell them walking together is romantic.

The girls and punters who arrive early often hang out at the Merengue Bar downstairs, waiting for the disco to get busy.
Clasico opens at 10 PM and closes at midnight (Sunday–Thursday) or 2AM (Friday & Saturday). Especially on weekdays, that leaves you with precious little time to party and find company for the night.
Still, Clasico Disco is the place where I met most of my chicas and where I have the best memories. Dominicanas love to dance and having a chica rub her ass, tits & pussy against me all evening was a blast. Unfortunately, the performance in bed often didn’t live up to the performance in the disco.
For me, Clasico Disco was the [b]only [/b]place in Sosúa where quality talent could be found. Some of the disco girls may hang out at the beach in the daytime or at the multitude of bars along Pedro Clisante earlier in the evening, but the hot babes either can’t be bothered or are otherwise engaged.
To get some quality talent in your room for an afternoon or early evening ST, I would recommend collecting phone numbers in the disco and calling them when you have an urge. I got a few girls’ numbers, but arranged meetings are ultimately not my style.

There are plenty of small bars along the main drag Pedro Clisante & some of its side streets. I never counted them, but have read reports claiming there are 30+ bars. Still, most bars have less than a handful of girls, so I estimate that the total number of chicas would be around the 100 mark.
That’s less than the turnout at the Merengue Bar / Clasico Disco on any given night, and the quality is much lower. I found very few girls to my liking in the bars, except for Yuli from La Bonita... and she wouldn’t go with me.

I know that bargains can be had at closing time, but when I was without a chica when Clasico closed, I ended up going home alone. The leftovers didn’t appeal to me.
There are way more punters than there are beautiful girls in Sosúa. Quite a few experienced mongers told me: “If you want quality, you have to pay!” I did want quality. I did pay. Maybe I overpaid?
BTW, I did get plenty of offers as low as 500 DOP ST and 1000 DOP LT. But they were not the kind of girls I wanted to fuck...

You have a choice between Dominicanas and Haitianas, with skin colors ranging from golden brown to pitch black. There’s plenty of variety in Sosúa.
Blanca chicas are a rarity, though. The only truly blanca chica I met was Carolina, who likes to be called Baby. She has a really pretty face, but her complexion isn’t all that good, so she needs a lot of make-up. Still, she wants 3000 DOP ST... and gets it all the time.

The Germans are often pioneers when it comes to discovering mongering destinations. The fact that the Sosúa girls use the term fickie-fickie (not fuckie-fuckie) illustrates its German heritage.
Girls with a preference for European customers (some of which spoke German), were complaining about the lack of Europeans in Sosúa. Maybe the Germans have discovered more fertile grounds? Or maybe it was just low season?

What happens a lot is that a girl, who’s just been with a guy and made some money, will get attacked by other girls. The knife will allow her to defend herself. - The New Yorkers have fucked up the market in Sosúa. They pay 100 USD for a ST and still think it’s cheap.
BTW, that last statement does not imply that Ted doesn’t like New Yorkers. He basically lives off his tips and the New Yorkers are generous tippers, so he absolutely adores them! It’s simply a statement of fact.

Of course, the main action is in Sosúa. The one time I took a taxi to Sosúa, it cost me 200 DOP, with a lot of bargaining. That was in the morning and I was carrying my luggage. Without luggage / at night, prices may be lower / higher.

Is the part about negotiating pricing for GOOD LOOKING chicas in Sosua really 1500 pesos ST and 2500-3000 TLN?? Not that I can't afford it, but I had been led to believe from previous posts that they were much lower. Heck, people made fun of me for paying these exact prices at BB's and I was able to find some quality there.
Is this because of a lack of negotiating skills or maybe comprehension of the Spanish language? Or is it that a lot of mongers go for the ugly ones because of the price? Let me know so I can plan accordingly for my trip in Feb.
As far as the sweetness of the chicas goes in the DR (I have limited exposure here-2 trips down in a controlled environment-BB's), but I found the above comments NOT to be the case, so long as you have a basic understanding of the culture. I read up on being a tigre' in the forums here and I found that although the chicas start their approach with you with a "hard edge", they often soften up when they see you setting boundaries and taking charge correctly.
Heck, there was a string of threads fairly recently about one chica (Black Barbie/Louisa) a beautiful girl who has somewhat of a predatory reputation and I found her to be the sweetest thing in the world once she saw me as a tigre'. She was so sweet that I had to invoke the "three day rule" while I was with her because she was getting inside my heart.
