Just got back from a quick trip
I hadn't been to Sosua since summer of '04. First let me say that I am thankful most dudes aren't very particular or I would either have had to work very hard or pay premium for decent talent. I was able keep the prices at mininum, thankfully but it was no where near the ridiculus pocket change I was paying in '04. The initial asking price was out of sync with quality of the talent but the partying was great. Definitely still one of the favorites.
Nicest Chica Friendly Hotels
Hell, I hate to open my first post with a question, but after several years and mongering locations, I am ready to take my first quick trip to Sosua.
After quite a bit of lurking and researching this very informative sight, I feel as though I have a rather good feel for the place.
I just have one question. Due to time constraints, I can only do a 4 day 3 night trip. I've read up and down these posts and reports and I still can't determine which is the nicest Chica Friendly Hotel in the area!
I've read the posts about the usual places like Europa and BB's, but am hoping to stay somewhere more upscale. Any feedback would be most appreciated.
I will contribute my report when I get back. I'm looking at Jan 11-14th.
Thanks for the help!
Loso in Sosúa - Overview & Conclusions
Timing
I was in Sosúa:
October 12 - October 25 (13 nights)
I spent the first night of my holiday in the DR (October 11) in Puerto Plata.
Statistics
During my 13-day stay in Sosúa, I had:
ST: 11
LT: 7
Girls: 17
I didn’t get laid on my sole night in Puerto Plata.
Merengue Bar & Clasico Disco
The girls and punters who arrive early often hang out at the Merengue Bar downstairs, waiting for the disco to get busy.
Clasico opens at 10 PM and closes at midnight (Sunday–Thursday) or 2AM (Friday & Saturday). Especially on weekdays, that leaves you with precious little time to party and find company for the night.
Still, Clasico Disco is the place where I met most of my chicas and where I have the best memories. Dominicanas love to dance and having a chica rub her ass, tits & pussy against me all evening was a blast. Unfortunately, the performance in bed often didn’t live up to the performance in the disco.
For me, Clasico Disco was the only place in Sosúa where quality talent could be found. Some of the disco girls may hang out at the beach in the daytime or at the multitude of bars along Pedro Clisante earlier in the evening, but the hot babes either can’t be bothered or are otherwise engaged.
To get some quality talent in your room for an afternoon or early evening ST, I would recommend collecting phone numbers in the disco and calling them when you have an urge. I got a few girls’ numbers, but arranged meetings are ultimately not my style.
Pedro Clisante Bars
There are plenty of small bars along the main drag Pedro Clisante & some of its side streets. I never counted them, but have read reports claiming there are 30+ bars. Still, most bars have less than a handful of girls, so I estimate that the total number of chicas would be around the 100 mark.
That’s less than the turnout at the Merengue Bar / Clasico Disco on any given night, and the quality is much lower. I found very few girls to my liking in the bars, except for Yuli from La Bonita... and she wouldn’t go with me.
Sosúa Beach Scene
Some girls also hang out at the Sosúa beach bars during the daytime. Unlike in the disco, there are way more punters than there are chicas and the quality is low.
Sosúa Chicas
Beauty
The overall quality of the selection in Sosúa didn’t impress me at all. Real hotties are few and far between... and they know what they’re worth. Ugly girls are a dime a dozen and can be picked up cheaply... but I had no interest in them.
Price
For the better-looking girls in Sosúa, I generally paid 1500 DOP ST and 2500-3000 DOP LT. Those prices are higher than what my research revealed and more than I expected to be paying.
There were very few chicas I liked, so I always tried to hook up as early as possible in the disco. The later it is, the better your negotiating position, but the beautiful chicas get picked up early. I know that bargains can be had at closing time, but when I was without a chica when Clasico closed, I ended up going home alone. The leftovers didn’t appeal to me.
There are way more punters than there are beautiful girls in Sosúa. Quite a few experienced mongers told me: “If you want quality, you have to pay!” I did want quality. I did pay. Maybe I overpaid?
BTW, I did get plenty of offers as low as 500 DOP ST and 1000 DOP LT. But they were not the kind of girls I wanted to fuck...
Variety
You have a choice between Dominicanas and Haitianas, with skin colors ranging from golden brown to pitch black. There’s plenty of variety in Sosúa.
Blanca chicas are a rarity, though. The only truly blanca chica I met was Carolina, who likes to be called Baby. She has a really pretty face, but her complexion isn’t all that good, so she needs a lot of make-up. Still, she wants 3000 DOP ST... and gets it all the time.
Big Booty
Big booties seemed to be the norm in Sosúa. Of course, the majority of the Sosúa mongers are black Americans and a lot of them indicated a preference for big booties, so there’s definitely a market for them.
I personally prefer flaca chicas. But the face remains the most important selection criterion, so a pretty face always trumps a hot body.
Service
French Kissing
DFK: 5
Nada: 12
I consider no French kissing to be the hallmark of an ultra-professional puta.
French kissing is an essential part of the GFE and this statistic is totally unacceptable!
Blowjobs
BBBJ: 13
CBJ: 3
Nada: 1
Not a perfect score, but good enough.
Fucking
Good Fuck: 11
Sterile Fuck: 5
Once again, decent enough score.
Mentirosas
Some girls promised to spend the night (sleep 8 eight hours – 2 rounds), yet they woke me up early in the morning, all dressed up and ready to go.
Others agreed to provide certain services, but ultimately wouldn’t.
So many mentirosas in Sosúa...
Sweetness
Thai girls can be so sweet. Brasileiras are ever so carinhosa. That explains why they’re the world’s top mongering destinations.
Apart from a few notable exceptions, the Dominicanas didn’t seem to have a sweet bone in their body. Most seemed hard-edged with a very professional attitude.
Dominicanas don’t seek body contact when they spend the night with you either. They sleep on their side of the bed; you sleep on your side. Sleeping with a Dominicana is just like sleeping with... your wife.
Hijos
Hijos: 12
Nada: 5
Most of the chicas in Sosúa have kids. The good news is that stretch marks are a rarity (1 out of 12). The bad news is that their tits cannot defy gravity.
Language
The Dominicanas obviously speak Spanish. Some may speak a little English (or even German), but most chicas speak nothing but Spanish.
Haitianas speak Creole, a French patois that is incomprehensible to French speakers. The Haitianas in Sosúa generally speak Spanish as well. Some of them may also speak fluent French.
Hygiene
Hygiene is not a topic I mention very often in my reports. I found working girls all over the world to have a very high standard of personal hygiene. Considering what they do for a living, it’s in their best interests.
Unfortunately, the DR chicas do not comply with that pattern. Some girls simply refused to take a shower, telling me that they were clean already. Others took some convincing before I could get them to wash at least their tits & pussy.
The overall standard of hygiene in Sosúa is the lowest I’ve ever encountered. And poor personal hygiene is simply unacceptable.
Sosúa Mongers
Weekend Tourists
The reception area at the Hotel Europa was sometimes full of people waiting to check in on Thursdays & Fridays. And one Monday, the maid told me that 27 people had checked out that day.
Cheap, direct flights make Sosúa a viable (extended) weekend destination for Americans (especially New Yorkers).
Black Americans dominate Sosúa, followed by white Americans and Europeans.
No More Germans?
The Germans are often pioneers when it comes to discovering mongering destinations. The fact that the Sosúa girls use the term fickie-fickie (not fuckie-fuckie) illustrates its German heritage.
Girls with a preference for European customers (some of which spoke German), were complaining about the lack of Europeans in Sosúa. Maybe the Germans have discovered more fertile grounds? Or maybe it was just low season?
Ted’s Quotes
A few quotes from Ted (from Rocky’s), who’s lived in Sosúa for 12 years:
- When a chica steals from you, get her name (from hotel reception) and her picture (if you have any) and go to the police. Tell them she stole 3 times the amount she actually stole. The police will pay her a visit and demand half the money she stole. If she coughs up, she’s out of pocket. If she doesn’t pay, the cops will beat her up. You won’t get your money back, but you can get your own back.
- A lot of the chicas in Sosúa carry concealed weapons (mostly knives). They’re unlikely to use them on you, though. What happens a lot is that a girl, who’s just been with a guy and made some money, will get attacked by other girls. The knife will allow her to defend herself. Talk about cut-throat competition between the girls!
- The New Yorkers have fucked up the market in Sosúa. They pay 100 USD for a ST and still think it’s cheap.
BTW, that last statement does not imply that Ted doesn’t like New Yorkers. He basically lives off his tips and the New Yorkers are generous tippers, so he absolutely adores them! It’s simply a statement of fact.
Final Words
The main thing the DR has going for itself is its proximity to and easy accessibility from the US. But unless the flight time is your primary concern, there are better places to spend your mongering budget.

Field of Dreams vs Hotel Plaza Europa

Web Site

Warning:
When you try and access the site, you may receive a pop-up urging you to install DriveCleaner. When I refused to install it, my browser went blank.
Rooms
The rooms feature:
- A comfortable double bed.
- A table and chair.
- A safe in the wardrobe.
* The safe if big enough to hold a 17” laptop.
* The safe is flat and wasn’t high enough to hold my SLR camera or lenses.
- The safe has a key, which means you have to hide the key when a chica spends the night.
- An empty fridge.
- A good A/C unit.
- Cable TV.
- A hot water shower.
- A separate toilet.
- A balcony with chairs, overlooking the grounds and pool.
Although the room was perfectly adequate, it was rather bare and had this “unfinished” look.
Grounds
The landscaped grounds and pool are the hotel’s most noteworthy features.
Location
The Field of Dreams is in the middle of nowhere. Except maybe for the disco at the Playa Dorada resort across the street, no P4P venues are within walking distance. Even the Puerto Plata strip clubs (Casa Ana Mirian, El Bohen & Crystal’s) are some distance from the hotel.
Of course, the main action is in Sosúa. The one time I took a taxi to Sosúa, it cost me 200 DOP, with a lot of bargaining. That was in the morning and I was carrying my luggage. Without luggage / at night, prices may be lower / higher.
Price
My room was paid for by Bruce (from TSM), who’s an investor in the hotel.
According to the web site, the room rate is 43.10 USD + 16% taxes, which adds up to a round 50 USD.
Hotel Plaza Europa
Web Site

Rooms
As in Field of Dreams, the rooms feature:
- A comfortable double bed.
- A table and 2 chairs.
- A safe in the wardrobe.
* The safe was big enough to hold my SLR camera and lenses.
* The safe has a number lock, which saves you the hassle of hiding the key.
- An empty fridge.
- A decent A/C unit.
- Cable TV.
* Includes a porn channel.
- A hot water shower and toilet.
- A balcony with chairs, overlooking the pool.
The rooms also feature the following, lacking at Field of Dreams:
- A kitchenette with microwave oven.
- Nightstands each side of the bed.
- Photogenic curtains & bedspread.
- Alarm clock.
- Hairdryer.
- Ironing board & iron.
Grounds
The hotel also features a swimming pool.
Location
The Hotel Europa is right at the heart of the Sosúa entertainment area, so you’ll never need a taxi unless you want to check out the Puerto Plata strip clubs.
Price
My hotel room cost 40 USD, including all taxes.
I received a 5% discount for cash payment.
The apartments, located down a side street, are cheaper.
Check-out Time
The check-out time is 2 PM.
Conclusion
- The Hotel Plaza Europa is at the center of the action, whereas the Field of Dreams is in the middle of nowhere.
* Staying near the action can save you a fortune in cab fares.
- The rooms at the Hotel Plaza Europa are large and well equipped, whereas the rooms at the Field of Dreams are smallish and look bare.
- The Hotel Plaza Europa is cheaper than Field of Dreams.
Field of Dreams vs. Hotel Plaza Europa? No contest!
