I went up to the Orion Bar at the Rad Blu last week to find that everything was back normal following the crack down that happened back in January. Ended up talking to a PRC lady at the bar and was eventually persuaded to go back to 'her place'. It wasn't too far from the hotel and quite reasonable. She was clearly living there along with 2 or 3 others. She had a fairly decent body and her massage was good. Think there ARE SEVERAL villas / flats / apartments close to Holiday Villa where ladies have access and a phone number to call about availability. The lady referred to was PRC and there are several Chinese with flats renting out rooms for short term. Of course not only Chinese are doing it however in case of Chinese WG she will be more comfortable getting short term room with a Chinese person (having LE in mind).

ONE special short term hotel would be too obvious and probably closed down. My advice is to find a lady and if you don't have a place to go ask her if she has a solution. Some ladies will even take you to her own flat where she may share but may have separate bedroom. It's the case that WG with Qatari ID have more renting options than QG visiting. My best advice is to ask and if problems go to next. In general I think most, but not all hotels are green. Radisson is not green.

I was responsible for the "Holiday Villa" post.

It was due to my misunderstanding or mistranslation of what a nice Chinese girl was telling me.

Turned out that I did connect with her a day or so later. We did go to such an apartment behind Holiday Villa (after being booted out of the Moevenpick) but it was one that girls could arrange for when they had clients they met at the Radisson, for example. She did ask me for extra to pay for the room rental.

I had occasions with others who had their own place, which appeared to be their own room in an apartment complex shared with others.

That has always worked out OK, even though a little strange.

There are very few places in Doha that are girl friendly these days! One place that tolerates a few is the Hilton. I was there last Thursday for Happy Hour and the place was packed, including three PRC girls obviously looking for business. Surprisingly they were quite good looking (6 or 7 / 10 by my standards) and they were very well dressed. They gave me the eye and the smile many times but as I was with 12 work mates, including a couple of females, there was no way I could hook up. I was really tempted when the group dwindled down to just 4 of us but by then I was well pissed. I plan on going back on my own some time but assume that there will be no action during Ramadan with the bars not serving alcohol. I might have to pop over to Dubai for the weekend.

I have never been there but spoken with 2 PRC which have been there and mentioned that business was not good at that place.

Agree on your comment about few places. I think during Ramadan without using web or saved numbers in phone book it will be difficult to find anything in Doha. I was at Belgian Cafe yesterday and the place will be closed for one month and that's not even a place for finding girls. Several PRC already left Doha prior to Ramadan due to the dry season.

I dropped into Qube for the first time on a Wednesday to see what it was like only to find it a rather dire experience. If the place had any less atmosphere NASA would be landing there though the band were doing their best playing to an empty dance floor. There were a few PRC hanging around on the far side from the entrance door but frankly they were so grim I'd rather turn celibate than consider taking one of them. I left after one drink.

A hint for anyone going for the first time: you have to buy an ID card for 50 Rial but it only lasts as long as your visa is valid so if you have extended it take the slip of paper otherwise they will only give you a card valid for one day. Total cost was R50 for the card & R90 entrance which includes one bottled drink, but not a draught beer. Overall it was an expensive disappointment.

I next tried on a Thursday & it was a rather different experience. The place was much busier although the hippocrocapigs on the far side were even more numerous. I tried a couple of passes over there but there was nothing of interest. Nearer the door there was one table of four much younger & more presentable girls & I watched as various men made their approach. Eventually two groups almost came blows over who was going to win the spoils & by 1 am there was only one left. She was perfectly presentable but one drunk was monopolising her until he finally left as she wasn't interested in a short time booking. I'd lost interest by this point but chatted to her briefly to see what the going rate was. She was adamant that the price was R2000, no less. Bearing in mind it was coming up to closing time, she was the last one left & the men were getting drunker I admired her self belief in her value but feared she would be disappointed.

So there is decent quarry at Qube but be prepared to fight for it, and / or pay top dollar.

Following my experience at Qube I decided to pay the Orion bar a visit on a Friday evening. Like Qube it's at the Radisson Blu but it's in the newer building, a hundred yards to the left of where the old is located. Take the lift to the 9th floor & the bar is on the right. If you have a Qube entrance card it's valid for the Orion as well.

The bar itself has the bar area where punters & girls mingle & further round a seated section where there was live music playing. It was not good. The bar section seems to be the only place where girls are allowed & there were around a dozen or so of which I would contemplate only two. I got talking to a tall slim PRC & we settled on R1000 & left around 10:30.

Back in my room a good time was had by all with her repeatedly enjoying herself from oral attention & the services of a small vibrator. I'd definitely repeat with her.
