Landed at Taoyuan international airport. I had heard that taxi from airport will cost 50% more on top of meter and works out to 1300-1500.

Instead I book a merz from the hotel I was staying at 1900 since the difference was less than USD20.

Taipei is one of the safer city in Asia and I will considered it to be a clean city.
