Panama City

There are better reasons to not visit Panama in December I. E most girls go back to their home country to spend the holidays with their family. Prime time to be in Panama is Feb-Apr and then from Aug-Nov.

I last went this past May and the quality was a-OK. Nothing to write home about. Although my experiences were better.

I wish I could back sooner than January but have commitments until November. By that time, Panama hits the national holidays in November so everything is closed and people go to countryside for getaway. Also learned that December is the worst time to come due to traffic in the city. Not sure what tour guide meant by that, NYC, Chicago, and LA has bad traffic too. It seemed there were more cars than roads in the PC and traffic jam started 8 am-10 am & 4 pm-6 pm but supposedly these hours get extended during month of December when everyone is out and about all the time. I know some of you may have been there in December so would like feedback on this. If this is true.

Visited Panama Saturday night. Around 730 pm Habanos was dead, walked up to the Veneto to window shop and the pickings were pretty slim as well. There was some kind of religious celebration going on with fireworks and everything, so I was bummed thinking this was going to be a repeat of Good Friday when everything in the whole country was closed.

But I was happily mistaken, I had merely gone out too early. Peeked into Habanos after 9 pm and it was pleasantly packed. Grabbed a beer, and a Colombian grabbed me. Victoria is from Medellin, and fits the 'aggressive paisita' profile. I had had a go with her before, maybe 6 months ago, but I don't think she remembered me. Her English is pretty solid, and she is an enthusiastic provider. We chatted while I finished my beer and enjoyed the floor show. I offered her 80 for an hour with BBBJ, she countered with cien, or 1/2 hour for 80. After a little back and forth we agreed to 1 1/2 hours, with BBBJ and photos for cien.

She preformed above expectations, no rush didn't look for the cash up front and seemed genuinely into it. She was a little camera shy, and didn't want her face in any pix. After I finished on her belly and we cleaned up she gave me a great massage. She says she's heading back to Colombia until late August. I got her digits for my next visit for some daytime fun.

Thanksgiving week is celebrated as the biggest shopping event ever. Middle class masses from all over fly in to go shopping. Lots of 2 x1 sales.

It is a good time to stay away from the malls, but everything else seems to be business as usual.

There are lots of colombianas and others trying to make Christmas money!

I noticed a lot of ads on [URL]www.wanuncios.com[/URL] showing sale prices of $50. Others asking $60, some with 2 x 1 specials. I have not been here since March, wondering what is going on.

Just about every Colombian woman you meet in Panama City working menial jobs will have sex for money. That's why they traveled to PC, and most of them don't have residency or any kind of work permit. Sooner or later they wise up to hustling tourists for cash.

Some time ago some folks on this thread advised checking out Cartagena if I was after more Colombian women. I have a quick question to those who have visited the two: is there a place like Habanos in Cartagena? I looked through the Cartagena thread on this forum and there's talk of brothels and night clubs, but never any bars where you can go to pick up.

Also how is the attitude toward prostitution in Cartagena? In Panama no one bats an eye lash.

The best known club for freelancers is La Dolce Vita in Laguito, the beach area. There are also bars in the historic old town where freelancers hang out. I'm not up to date on those, check out the Cartagena forum. You might do a search for Hilltopper's posts. He's a good source for those types of spots.

As to the attitude toward prostitution, I don't know if there's much of a difference between the cities. People in Cartagena however will be more likely to assume you're there to bang hookers, which will work to your disadvantage versus Panama if you intend to date nonpros too.

Tu Candela is an awesome bar in Cartagena IMO.

Long time forum stalker / South American traveler making his first report.

I'm on a 4-country 2-month trip in South America, and after 3 weeks in CR (not bad) and 1 in Nicaragua (not great), I arrived yesterday in Panama. First thing: if you have Uber, and are able to get internet access at the airport, definitely use Uber to get into town. For that matter, use Uber everywhere that Uber is available. I travel quite a bit throughout South America, and only use Uber if available. The cost, convenience of not needing cash, newer cars, and just the friendliness of the drivers cannot be overstated.

After reaching my hotel, the Hampton by Hilton, I unpack and head out to walk around, get a Claro SIM (invaluable while traveling), and get my bearings. At around 7, I head over to Elite, where the manager and security both tell me that I'd be wasting my time and money heading in that early, and to check back after 9:30 PM. From there, I hit up Miami, where only 3 girls were working, 1 of which was busy with the only other customer. I chat up a Colombian, but opt to try my chances elsewhere, as I'll be in Colombia next Sunday for about a month. I call another Uber, and he recommends a place nearer the airport called Capri. It's in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood, but he tells me once inside I'd be surprised, and I was. It seems much newer inside, had over 15 girls working on a Sunday night, and quite the busy atmosphere. I should probably add that at this place, as well as Elite, Miami, and many places in Panama, there are local prices and foreigner prices. As I'm Cuban and brown, I was able to pass as a local. $25/15 minutes at Capri, so approximately $100 for the hour minus negotiations. I pick out a blonde who turns out to be Colombian (the one thing I was trying to avoid, as I'll have my fill of Colombians next month), but it was my first night in, so I take her to the back for 30. Extremely mechanical, and was trying to upsell / ask for drinks the second I stood up. I probably went through 26 minutes of sales pitches, even during the deed. TLDR: I'd return, but not for her.

I have 6 days left in Panama, and hope to leave more helpful reviews soon. Also, I was looking online for what I consider the unicorn in South America: a massage joint that actually gives a good massage. If anyone can make a recommendation in Panama, I'd greatly appreciate it.

There were a ton of pros hanging out as the evening grew old and they some were real lookers. The second night I used a love motel very close by which was very inexpensive and also very clean.

I had my first trip to PTY after reading this forum. Landed in the eve, took taxi to Hyatt Place, which is a great hotel as mentioned here previously. By the time I got settled, it was about 10 pm so I decided to go to Veneto's, instead of Habanos. I walked to Veneto's and stopped for dinner at the Schwarma place next to Venetos- I highly recommend as good food for cheap price.

Once in Veneto's took escalator to 2nd floor casino / bar and it was semi-crowded with lots of lovely ladies and not many men! I saw 2 girls about 20 years old who beckoned me over. They said they were from Cuba and I explained that I just arrived and wanted to look around a little. We exchanged WhatsApp and I continued looking. I saw a lovely Colombian girl who was a 9 and spoke to her about an hour for cien including BBBJ; she said no BBBJ so I wished her a good night and kept searching. I finally settled on another Colombian who was about a 7-8 who would do GFE for 90 min for cien. We walked back to the Hyatt and she was good but not great. I could tell she was a smoker during DFK and tits were a little saggy. Nevertheless, fun was had and she put forth a great effort.

Day 2.

Non-mongering in the morning. Seeing the canal, etc.

In the afternoon, I wanted to be poolside but Hyatt pool is too small; so I packed a small backpack with water, towel, sunblock, etc and walked over to Venetos. Took the elevator to the 7th floor and layed on a lounge. There were only 2 other guys there when I arrived. After about 30 minutes a Colombian hottie (around 30 yo, Sofia) takes the lounge chair about 3 chairs from me. I'm wondering if she is a hooker or just a hot girl at the pool. I know girls have to pay a fee to be in the bar, but not sure if this also applies to the pool (I doubt she snuck in to the pool like me). We chat for a while, she orders food and a beer, and we exchange WhatsApp. I thought this might be my lucky day until I ask her what she does for work and she just smiles and says nada. I tell her I have plans with a friend in the eve, but might message her later. I leave and walk back to the Hyatt. I wanted late afternoon fun so I message her and have her come over at 4 pm. Once there we chat in the room and agree on $120 for 90 minutes. We shower together and she was very nice, GFE, passionate, and attentive.

The next day I flew to Colombia for work so PTY was a nice stopover. I really enjoyed the canal and Sofia; but my next mongering will be straight to Colombia as prices are half that of Panama.

But many hotels in Cartagena don't want hookers to come to their hotels. Do your research on that or use Airbnb like I have the last few times I went there. Lots of free lancers in Cartagena near the big clock. Just find Hard Rock Cafe and in that area you will see lots of ladies at night, and some of the bars next to Hard Rock. For Colombian standards, Cartagena is probably the highest average cost for hookers in Colombia. You can find some decent brothel / bars though. Taxis will know these places for sure.

I used to love the Veneto until the rooms got worse and worse and then started charging to bring a woman in your room. Don't worry about what people think abut hookers in Cartagena though. Some people like Cartagena and other areas of Colombia for low priced "inhalants".

[/QUOTE]I've stayed at Veneto about 5 times, but not again for sure. But I've met a few ladies who rent rooms there. It costs them more, but some ladies are paranoid about safety and paying for taxis and just like to stay there. I'm not sure if they get some sort of break on having to pay to work there though. When I met the girls that stayed there it was before having to pay to take a woman to the room, so maybe things have changed.
