You are dreaming if you think nana area bars will suddenly lower their prices because of fiwfans. By that logic they could also raise their prices to that of Thai brothels / soapies which charge 3500-15000 for a 90 min session. You're comparing apples to oranges. But I don't believe a P4P experience between me and any 2 girls in the same bar is exactly the same except price, much less between me and girls in different venues and working in different P4P options.

Overpriced bars, overpriced girls, anything overpriced, will ultimately lose business and shutdown (maybe after short term gains, more due to ignorance and impatience of customers), unless they offer something substantial in quality, which others don't. Thai guys or paying quite a bit more pre-covid at pretty massage parlors and through VIP agents are now paying 1,000 to 1300. So yes it has definitely changed. And I'll be willing to bet it'll be a very long time before they accept high prices again. And it will be a very long time before these gals are able to play their trade overseas.

Thailand is one of the most dynamic places I have ever been. It's constantly changing. Day 1, returned from Pattaya, checked into the Hilton Sukhumvit. Not a great hotel imo, a bit out of the way compared to some of the other 5 stars on Sukhumvit, old rooms and facilities, and they also seem to be doing some sort of renovation which is noisy as hell. I was also able to more or less figure out Sidelines, it's definitely not as great for vetting the girl before hand, but I have not been burned yet, and have even made some new contacts I plan on maintaining for future trips. On the PG side of things, Thailand is actually quite nice without the massive Chinese tour groups, and many of the usually packed attractions are very enjoyable right now. Depending how Omicron goes, and how Brazil is, I may plan another trip for early summer 2022.

I get it; some guys prefer Thai girls and place a premium on them as well as the totally open and transparent Thai nightlife scene, but for those of us who are amenable to checking out other places it comes down to cost and quality and where we can find the best sex with quality girls in exchange for our hard-earned money. Unfortunately, because I still like Thai girls a lot and used to like the pre-Covid Thai nightlife here too, I do not believe LOS is number 1 any more competitively speaking. Take for example BKK or Pattaya: 3 thousand for an average looking Go Go girl, plus the barfine (700 to 1500 bht), plus drinks, and sometimes iffy sex: this is not a bargain IMHO.

So if anything, Covid and the Thai closure has opened my eyes to the possibilities outside of SE Asia and I have been having a great time in South America this year. Since this well known den of iniquity is mentioned frequently on these pages, I was attempting to find further information but no one responded at the time. I have seen a few reports on Kasalong, located just around the corner, and apparently they are sometimes open. Every once in a while, I would see a gem at Lolita's while walking by as I used to live on Soi 8 and would occasionally partake so a pity if it's gone forever.

I've been following this thread religiously for the past few weeks ever since I had a work trip to Bangkok come up on my itinerary. But reading this thread has made me think about cancelling the trip all together especially with how the situation in Bangkok is. Seems like the nightlife there is dead? Is this correct? A lot of the massage parlors and soapy massage places and gogo bars also? Do you guys think the situation might improve by the middle of January? Would a trip to Bangkok around that time be worth it? And which hotel would you guys recommend the Sheraton grande in sukhvimit or the JW Marriot by Nana plaza. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
