For anyone not familiar with that pathway, it is about a 70 metre walkway that provides a shortcut between Khaosan Road and Rambuttri Road. On iPad, go to HOME. In the SEARCH bar type in PEOPLE NEARBY and it will come up. I don't know any other way to find it on the iPad.
I've never tried to use people nearby on an Android device. Line is a bit different on different devices, for example, I've never figured out how to send my location using my laptop.

Thanks in advance for your help.[/QUOTE]The people nearby function does not work in the app when using a Thai phone number to register. If you registered your Line account using a non Thai phone number it still works in Thailand but you won't see any users with Thai numbers.

Walked around Sukhumvit last night near Sofitel and Hyatt. I saw a ton of freelancers and some looked pretty cute. It's hard to tell in the dark, some wearing masks and not getting a long enough look. Tonight I'll ask about the details on price. I got to be careful, the lady boys are all mixed with the regulars. Anyone else have an experience in this area?

Ladyboys won't allow girls to stand in front of Thermae. Maybe someone in Bangkok now can correct me if things have changed.

I have taken some from there as well. Same with that stretch in front of Sofitel and the Hyiatt hotels, although it is true that stretch usually has a higher percentage of ladyboys.
I don't know about one group ostracizing another in that area. The only time I ever noticed some possible evidence of anyone ostracizing anyone else was 2-3 times when clearly above average looking Thermae type girls out there discretely agreed upfront to BBFS+CIP with me at a reasonable rate for such girls of 2,000 baht for a leisurely, no hurry Short Time or 3,000 baht for a Long Time.
I noticed before and after those particular girls apparently violated some unwritten Thermae cardinal rule about BBFS+CIP and doing it with a farang for any reasonable price, they never mingled or sat with the other more Thermae Law-abiding girls.
LOL. But who knows what was really going on or in fact who was ostracizing whom in that case, if at all. It was just an interesting observation.

I made a trip to 7th heaven in the afternoon and was greeted by a lady in the front. She showed me a tablet with around 7 girls. I picked one but she didn't look anything like the photo. I was led up to small room with a bed and a sink. She definitely knew what she was doing. World class BJ and took the whole shot until there was nothing left.
At night I walked to nana plaza. It was pretty busy with around 50 to 60 girls drinking with the guys. There were definitely some cuties. Mama quoted 3,500 baht short time. I had too many beers so I'll go there tomorrow.

I am very likely going to be in BKK sometime within the next two months. I wanted to try something I have never done in my trips to BKK and that is explore the less expensive freelancers in Chinatown. I realize this might be different since COVID, but has anyone ever taken any of these girls? If so could you please post about the exact location to find, the cost, the experience, etc. Thanks in advance.

I spent some time in one of the open bars on Soi 4 near Nana. Maybe 10 ladies there, mostly elderly, and the occasional customer drifted in. The ladies seemed to know which customers to ignore.
It's still kind of slow on Soi 4.
