Some of those will be enthusiastic/ pushy (like the one who nicked my sunglasses yesterday), some will give a welcome smile, and some don't seem bothered. A few moments chat with half a dozen of the happy smiley girls will clarify which speak reasonable English, and which on closer inspection are attractive, then names and bars can be mentally noted. A decision reached and a slow stroll back to the delighted girl who has been singled out from the others!

I never had any girl with good service at soi 6 most are young and inexperience and bad attuide, girl at walking st are better quality but more expensive.

I have no hope of matching the eloquence of Kumbu’s entertaining reports but of course I can still summarize my visit in the hope that it provides something useful for others. As an older guy I am pretty easily pleased and I thought it was a great trip.
Used Mr T for late night transport (midnight) from Airport to Pattaya – easy, efficient and 1000B.
Stayed Tim Boutique Hotel – (1500) - no joiner fees and efficient friendly operation. I took a maximum of 2 girls to my room – others have said there is a joiner fee for 3 but I did not test it. The girls leave their id cards at the desk and the desk calls you when they leave to check everything is OK. Good location mid-way between Walking St and Soi 6.
Found nice girls at the usual places and no point in labouring those – Happy, What’s Up, Airport, Baccara, Windmill and Beach Club. Found not much going on at Angelwitch and BabyGirls. LT was had for 2300 and ST was 1000. While I agree the average is lower in Soi 6, I found some genuinely nice girls, young, good looking with great bodies and plenty of desire for some exploration beyond slam/bam/thank you mam. Definitely be back there.
One thing I never quite figured was how to hook up with the stunners. I saw plenty out walking with various farang guys but never saw any of them solo in spite of hanging at the usual locations during the day. Maybe my good luck not to!
Before my trip I posted about how to be sure that I wasn’t hooking up with a LB on the street. I got chided (rightly) by several and told to toughen up!! Well somehow I did make the mistake and hey…… the world did not stop. When I realized my error I disengaged politely and found another bar. A little respect goes a long way and everyone deserves it – it was not the LB’s fault but mine so no point getting angry about it. That’s life.

Last night, along with 2 other veteran ISG members for pleasant company, I visited The Cavern, a new go-go joint on Walking Street near the entrance to Soi Diamond on the beach side of the street. It represents a complete gutting and makeover of Sisters a-go-go which folded a few months ago for lack of talent and customers.
As the new name implies, the place is done out well in an underground ‘cave’ motif complete with rocks, boulders, a meandering stream, and fountains to give customers the feeling that they are exploring the exotic delights of a prehistoric pussy grotto. Nice job!
There are 3 stages for watching the action and at least 40 dancing girls were milling about all dressed in faux leopard skin ‘cave girl’ loin cloth outfits and in varying states of nudity. A few were completely nude, and there were some young cuties as well… one I remember in particular with a sweet face and a fine round luscious bubble butt.
Later, we strolled down to the brand new Peppermint a-go-go now located on the ground floor near the old up-stairs Peppermint and just across from Soi Marine Plaza on the beach side. This was the bar’s opening night debut.
Another very nice job and definitely a better business location, but I was surprised to discover that the inside is laid out exactly the same as the old joint, yet with only about half the floor space. It was crowded early and hard to find a perch with a good vantage point. Lots of cuties there as always and the atmosphere is pleasantly charged. A couple of the pole dancers were demanding tips for showing their pussies which was mildly annoying (the tip demands – not the pussies).
Apparently, these two new bars, together with Happy, (an all-time favorite) Baccara, (a great new favorite), and Beach Club (a less traveled stop), share the same owners and this is reflected in the excellent way they all are managed. They all feature the same ‘happy hour’ policy offering draft beer and house spirits at 59 baht each until 9:30pm every night, which results in customers flocking in droves even during low season.
The quality of the girls is good up to fantastic too – another customer draw – and they are much less aggressive for lady drinks, tips and bar fines than girls at some other bars. Each bar also has comfortable air conditioned seating and a wait staff of men who hustle to serve the customers wants without pushing them to buy drinks. There are no greedy grasping mamasans to deal with.
Whoever the owners are, it is obvious that they know how to make money running inexpensive but quality pussy establishments for hungry mongers.
