My own "system" is that if I meet a girl in the bar and start talking to her, I try to quickly assess the situation and the potential.

I always buy myself a beer before talking to a girl, and quite often if I see a nice looking girl sitting at the bar, I will stand next to her when buying my beer. The other thing you have to watch out for is her "friend" who can suddenly appear as if by magic.

A lot also depends on where you go. Neptune3 is bad for being pressurised into buying lady drinks as the girls are on to you like a plague of locusts as soon as you go in. Ably assisted by the Mamasa Pearla. Borocay is just as bad and Neptune 2 is not far behind.

Lets face it the girls earn a fair bit from the lady drinks. HK$60 a tequila. So you can't blame them for trying but you have to stay alert.

The best place for no pressure is probably New Makati on a Sunday. Big chances of a freebie with a DH if you play your cards right.

I always have a beer to start with and don't buy them a drink till I am ready. That way I can check them out before I have spent anything. Some of the girls can be very playful, have quite a nice personality, and are entertaining in many ways. Those are the types I like to share a cheap drink with. Cheaper than a football / basketball / or concert ticket and infinitely more enjoyable in the end.

I assume you have some business there, it is not that common area for tourist to stay and it is not that close to the main mongering areas. There would be plenty of 141 though so just use a site specialising in that and check out Sha Tin. Options would be to take the MTR or a bus to Mongkok, Jordan, TST area.

Big Bootays) which I didn't find in Thailand. But my next trip will be either in KL & Singapore or Vietnam & The Philippines so by default I am sure it will be all Asians from here on out for the rest of the year. (Although I got the inside scoop that some Colombians actually roam around Singapore as well) I am forcing myself to visit these other countries and broaden my horizons, as I can spend all of my vacations in Central and South America. Hong Kong & Thailand was a great start, and I am really happy that I went. Next year will be Europe, followed by Africa the following year.

I am sure I over paid, but after reading this forum, I figured HKG would be kind of expensive, and tried to do my best to stay within a self-imposed budget. Since it was for the Colombians, I already knew I was going to have to come out LOL, but I had fun. After becoming jaded with the issues of DH freebies (becoming too clingy mainly) , I decided to do a bit of traditional mongering in Kowloon.

I saved the addresses of a couple of 141 walk up places on my phone, and the location of the oft-reported on 37 Dundas just in case.

I found what I thought was the exact location of the first 141 cluster (in TST) , however instead of an apartment block it looked like the entrance to a tacky and dodgy KTV. There was a women at the entrance plastered in make up and wearing an evening gown, so I asked her in Mandarin if I had the right address. All I got was a quick shake of the head and she looked away, which I took to mean 'you are a troublesome gweilo and I cannot be bothered with you', so I crossed that location off my list.

Found the second location in Mongkok, and it was a narrow alleyway between two buildings, with a guy sitting at the entrance to the alley. I did not see any obvious entrances down the alley, so I decided I would check out pics of the location back on the net and save it for another day.

Lesson for today – for 141 walk up places save a pic of the entrance on your phone besides the address.

37 Dundas it would be then. I must say I had some reservations, mostly that it is covered so frequently on here, and that the time limit is only 45 minutes (I am used to 60 or 90 mins from days gone by going to saunas in Shanghai and Beijing).

Besides L1 and L2 often quoted in here it appeared that there is a L3 as well, but I decided to go with L1 this time since it seems to get better reviews. I walked in and was seating on the sofa in the waiting area. There were two other punters before me, and by the time I was shown into a room two more arrived. There are quite a few different means for punting in HK and I've tried most of them, with varying degrees of hits and misses (I would advise exploring all the routes though YMMV).

[B][U]Wanchai: Traffik[/U][/B]

Let's start with the glorious, glorious Wanch. I've picked up a few here and there in the past but of late concentrate all my attention on [B]Traffik[/B]. The place is literally heaving with women of all shapes, sizes, colours and nationalities: the ubiquitous Philippinas, Thais, Chinese but also Africans, EEs and Latinas. 99% of the girls in the place are professionals or semi-professionals; 99% of them are ready, willing and able at all times; and 99% are genuinely female too, which is always a relief in the Wanch.

SOP is pretty straightforward:

1. Find a girl you like.

2. Catch her eye.

3. Go talk to her.

I've noticed that the quality of girls has steadily declined over the years. From gorgeous Pinoys with silky-smooth skin to pretty ropey Miscellaneous these days. These are small-scale go-go bars, with girls up on stage dancing in bikinis in rotation. Pick a girl you like, ask her to come sit with you. No difference whether she is on stage or at the bar. Buy yourself a drink and one for her if you want her to stay with you (she will wheedle you and / or bugger off if you don't). Your drink will be a normal price, the lady's drink at least 3x as much. The first drink usually earns you a bit of a snog, the second more snogging and a bit of a grope, the third more of the same. I know some Wanchai Warriors who have ended up getting a blowie round the back, but this isn't very common. If you want take-out you have to pay the bar fine, which is exorbitant (approximately 5 to 6 times more expensive than say a standard bar fine on Soi Cowboy).

In my opinion, the girlie bars in HK are not worth it.

Girls are usually locals, Mainland Chinese, EEs, Japanese, Koreans and Taiwanese, plus an occasional smattering of Singaporeans, Thais etc.

Some of the girls work out of single-room apartments (141 means. 1 floor. 4 rooms. 1 girl per room but this doesn't strictly apply every time) , some out of hotel rooms. Rates vary from HKD 300 at the lower end to HKD 2000 for part-time "high-class" locals.

The site is very user-friendly and has a comprehensive search facility. All the girls' listings include photographs (faces usually blurred) , services, rates,"ratings" (ignore) , contact details and maps. My usual MO is to visit a girl then work my way through the rest of the apartment building over time (not all the girls in a building would necessarily advertise on Sex 141).

Last night I wound up in Wan Chai with colleagues from out of town. Granted it was Wednesday night with a reduced amount of talent, but there was enough going on to make one hopeful of a happy ending.

All the bars are WAY too loud, drinks are over-priced, but hey, it's Wan Chai. We stopped at Dusk to Dawn, Boracay, Joe Bananas and several others. Some places were practically empty.
