1 Hour foot massage is 500 for standard therapist or 600 for the senior massage therapist.

In my experince there is little different between the normal and senior therapist.

They also offer body massage etc as well.

If you are not used to a very hard foot massage be prepared for some PAIN - 555.

Last but not least. I decided to stop by Kokoro and try Mira as she came back from vacation.

I was hesitating between that and a legit Thai massage. I did not regret my choice as soon as I saw her.

I walked past Soi Cowboy about 7 pm (Saturday) and they had both ends closed off. The only way to enter was by taking an on the spot Rapid Covid Test.

I showed them my vaccination certificate of which they had zero interest in. Just said "everyone" must take on spot covid test.

I cannot imagine many customers being prepared to enter the street under those circumstances because 1) It takes 15 minutes to get results 2) If you are positive they will register the result with the government which means hospital quarantine.

It will be interesting to see how long they do this. Cannot imagine it will last more than a week as the bars inside will have zero customers.

It's at back, when you enter Amarin Plaza from the BTS level, just go straight all the way to the back, it's the last shop on the right before you reach the parking area.

And yes, as far as foot massage goes, this is the best, no one else comes close.

Not that taking one is required, but they are there if you want one. However, don't be surprised if a girl you're chatting with in the bar playfully hands you one to show her you tested just as negative as she did today. LOL.

I suppose the best workaround for not being put on a list after testing positive in cases where a test is required to enter, other than simply not entering of course, is to give yourself a test before going out for the night. If it shows you are negative after the 15 minute wait time, chances are every free or required test you take for the next 3-4 hours will be negative too. Not guaranteed. But increased probability.

I have seen self tests for sale in some pharmacies for as low as 120 baht. The bars offering them for free must be getting them for free from the government.

Thanks for all your posts these many years. They have been honest and objective, which have helped many people reading your posts who have come to Thailand.

The bars are staying open until 11 pm now. Not sure if anyone is concerned about openly serving alcohol after 9 pm. I really haven't been following that issue. I saw some boys in brown show up at the entrance of the Soi 7 bar alley last night about 9:30 pm, chat briefly with some Asian customer and leave while the booze was being openly delivered to tables all around.

Have to say in the past week or two there has been a big increase in the number and quality of girls working in and around all the bars in the lower Sukhumvit area. Two of my three favorite regulars returned to Bangkok a few days ago.

Virtually all the beer bars are open, lively and many are packed with girls, the usual 10-20% of them as doable or better than your above average Bangkok go-go girl during normal times. Nana Plaza ground level as one big beer bar is a party every night. Aside from Soi Cowboy, free rapid Covid tests are available but not required to enter any bar that I have seen.

And as of last night there were very few customers around. We were outnumbered by available girls by many multiples.

Have to cough out 5400 Baht for 1st day Test and go and 4500 baht for 5th day. This totals to 9900 baht just for this temporary thing called test and go.

I am still ready to pay this right now as girls are cheaper by 500 baht daily, right? I saw the posts of this forum saying girls are available at 1300 to 1500 baht instead of the regular 2000 baht. This way I save those 9900 baht in about 20 days.

Please correct me.

Please correct me.[/QUOTE]That's insane. Did you book through PSAS? When I went in November using Test and Go, I had already booked 2 x PCR for airport + day 4 (or 6) for Sandbox Entry. Total cost was around 5500 for both PCR tests. By the time I landed (and entered using Test and Go), only 1 PCR (at the airport) and 1 self-administered (free, I think?) antigen test on day 4 or 6 was necessary. I was even able to get half of the 5500 back by refunding the 2nd PCR test on the PSAS website.
