i wonder if this could be the alexandra that used to work at oase, but has been mentioned in a few reports from palace in the last couple of months. she used to say she was from romania, but later claimed she was from greece.

are you sure she didn't speek romanian with her friends? could be she's from the hungarian minority in romania, of course. i know some romanian girls lie about their nationality, but i don't see why she should if she was from hungary, as hungarians don't have such a bad reputation. Once again I have a long layover between flights in Frankfurt. I arrive from the USA at about 11:30 AM and have a connecting flight at 5:40 PM. I expect that I will already have a boarding pass for my connecting flight so I will not need to check in.

My first time to Frankfurt I did the same thing and despite it being early on a Monday morning, I had a very nice time. I am assuming that this will be enough time for me to catch the train into the center and a taxi to Palace for a few pleasant hours on a Friday afternoon. My questions are;

How crowded is it going to be on Friday afternoon and what are the odds that I will be too rushed to make the visit worth while?

Would it be more time/cost efficient to just take a taxi from the airport to Oasse?

Comments and or opinions would be welcomed and appreciated.

Crowded streets or crowded club? Palace will be slow, even on a Friday it does not pick up before 5 or 6 pm, when you will be back tonthe airport. Traffic should be no issue.

Jake[/QUOTE]As time is short I would recommend you take a taxi from the airport to The Palace. This will probably cost about €30 to €35 and will take about 10 to 15 minutes. Yes it's expensive for a cab ride.

If you go for the train you might have to wait on the platform for up to 20 minutes for the next train. Then get a taxi (easy) from the main station. This cab will cost you about €10 and take about 8 minutes. You can of course get the S8/9 from the airport to Hauptwache station and change on to the U6/7 line straight to Industriof. This will save you the cab fair but take a little longer.

Of course it all depends on your funds/time:

1) Trains all the way: €3.80 each way (I think there is a day card but I'm not sure). I would estimate a maximum of 60 minutes travelling time. 35 minutes if you are lucky. I'd guess maybe about 45 mins from leaving customs.

2) Train / Taxi: €3.80 each way on the train (same cost) + €10 each way in taxi. This will probably shave about 10 to 15 minutes off of the journey time.

3) Taxis all the way. €30 ish each way. Walk out of customs straight into taxi outside the door and say "FKK Palace Please" and you will be there in about 15 minutes.

Of course the taxi route will cost you maybe €65 more but you'll get an hour longer there.

After reading all the advise I visited The Palace late on a Sunday evening. What an experience. I was not tempted by the first approach from the girls and considered the first encounter. All in all an excellent time 3 girls a Romanian a good first shot.
