Next, back up your chat history (under Settings-Chats-Back Up and Restore). Install LINE on new mobile. Login to new LINE with linked email. Confirm migration, which will disable LINE on previous phone.
This process is almost same for WA & WC. For proof of concept, my LINE history goes back to 2014, WeChat to 2015, and WhatsApp to 2016, and I've upgraded smartphone every 2 years since.
For those with dual-SIM capable mobiles, I recommend activating dual messenger / apps function, so you can have 2 installations of same chat apps, which allows you to separate normal / home and p4 p / travel phone numbers, without having to carry 2 devices.
