Some might not be exactly freelancers
My guess is that the girls you are going on a date with are freelance girls and although no money was mentioned they expected something to be given to them when they left.
If you had slipped 2000 (average to older girls) to 3000/4000 (younger prettier girls) in their purse when they were leaving I am sure you will get a positively cheerful response and they will be willing to come back anytime.
Agree. But on the off chance that some were not exactly freelancers but regular Thai girls hoping to find a husband or long term support boyfriend, slipping 300-500 baht into their hand as a token gift "for taxi" would also be evidence that the guy isn't just looking for a free fuck.
He did say some of his presumed non P4P first dates did not conclude with a fuck but did on a second date.
I don't think I would recommend slipping 2000-4000 baht into the purse or hand of a girl who just had dinner and a movie with me but refused or resisted having sex on that first date. I would assume those girls are not exactly freelancers.
A question for anyone "in country"
Anyone who have visited Bangkok (in the "before times") knows that BKK city traffic is / was notoriously bad. So bad, it impedes you ability to get around town.
How is traffic nowadays?
Bangkok sounds like it is opening up again; but it also seems like it is still not as congested as it was before. I might be tempted to visit before things get hectic again. (When I travel, I go for tourism first. I might hobby if I still have the energy.).
Thanks for the feedback.
Insanity and other nightclubs
Traffic is all right in Sukhumvit area. Just avoid rush hours between 6-8 pm for now.
Has Insanity re opened after being busted in December? How about the other nightclubs? Which of the ones that have lots of freelancers are currently open? I apologize if this has been covered recently, but I fail to see it mentioned here in the last few weeks.
I actually prefer to get my night time company from ThaiFriendly, but my wing man is addicted to picking up freelancers at disco-type bars. Despite being retirement age, he actually loves electronic dance music (and long sessions of sex going to 3-4 am!
And morning traffic is bad, too
Traffic is all right in Sukhumvit area. Just avoid rush hours between 6-8 pm for now.
But believe it or not BTS has seats available most of the time. And no long lines at Siam or Asoke.
