If just a handful of votes are needed from either the far left democrats or some moderate republicans.
Well either one could get done. There are a few republicans from reddish states that can get reelected without help from TrumpShit.
The pub running for governor of Virginia recently told the Donald 'thanks, but no thanks', when TrumpShit offered to campaign with him.
Dem were saying last night that a dealio will happen.
Manchin said a day or two ago that he wanted the social infrastructure bill at no more than $1. 5 trillion, but he will probably get $1.75 shoved down his throat.
Yes, even at half the size of the original bill the Dems will pass legislation destined to be greater and more effective at improving the lives of all Americans than ever. But it will be missing some important provisions that would have made it even greater and more effective if just 2 of all 50 deadbeat Repubs in the Senate and a few deadbeat Repubs in the House had uncharacteristically worked for their tax-funded paycheck an hour or two.
I remember when Mainstream Media spent 8 years slamming Obama's successful negotiation of a historic Great Dem Recovery from the "Once in 100 Years!" collection of disasters he inherited from Bush2 for only asking for enough to get the job done tremendously fast and then settling for less but still enough to get the job done a bit slower. "He should ask for twice as much and negotiate down from there! Feckless loser!"
Now Mainsteam Media is slamming Biden for playing it exactly that way after inheriting another collection of "Once in 100 Years!" disasters from Trump. "He will only get HALF of the record amount he asked for and is settling for a lower record amount! Feckless loser!" Gotta' admire their consistency.
And it won't stop Repubs from claiming some responsibility for providing all the things their constituents back home will love about it, as they usually do after the Dems shoulder all the heavy lifting and assume all the political risk to get great things done for the country.
Combined with flipping control of the House, the Senate and the Presidency from Repubs to Dems during just one presidential term under Trump, the first time any Party has done that as far as I know, this will be another historic Dem victory on behalf of and to the great benefit of the American people.
Or, as Brian Williams and virtually every other supposedly "pro lib/Dem" Mainstream Media pundit will put it from now on, "A crushing, humiliating defeat and tragically lost opportunity for feckless Joe Biden and his fellow congressional Democratic Party losers and a huge, brilliantly conceived and executed win for those lovably irrepressible congressional Republican Party winners! Now, onward to the midterm election year!"
