Like you said the CIS girls seem very happy about this decison.

My informants tell the reason behind this is a complaint from a high level governement person (ex-pat , caucasian) harassed by PRC and African ladies to the point that he wrote a letter to the Habtoor Group. they seem to have taken action if this is true.

This is ridiculously late and for that I apologise. I was in Dubai overnight in transit around 17th Feb I think. Basically I landed at 1am and my flight out was at around 8am. I got out as suggested by some people on here and headed straight for the York Hotel.

I got there about 2 and I think it closed at 3. I decided not to go to the club section and just stayed in the bar, paying ridiculous drinks prices. Anyway, there were quite a few African and Asian women around. The ones that caught my eye were a Eurasian looking older chick dressed raunchily with a fit figure IMHO. Anyway, she seemed sloshed. I tried to make eye contact but that was tough. Later on she started speaking in Arabic as she passed me and then apologised when I didn't understand. She gave me the impression she didn't speak english. However, she later appeared to be talking to an Asian guy in broken english.

The other lady was a well dressed black woman who I even doubted was working. This discouraged me from making too much eye contact. She left soon after anyway.

The one I did get talking to was a young (19 she said) Rwandan who sat at my table after asking to do so. She says she was there with a friend. After quite a bit of small talk (she didn't particularly interest me) she asked if I was interested in any women. She even offered to talk to other women for me, but at that time there were none of interest. It came around to going with her but she wanted 500 for a couple of hours and only had a shared place. This continued till about closing time. When we were all turfed out before 3am I though my chance had all gone. Little did I know how wrong I was...

For anyone who is unaware, the real bargaining starts outside the York after closing. I was astounded at the quality of women that were coming out. Especially the Asians. I had told myself in advance I wanted a Filipino. I have never been particularly keen on PRC and I can take or leave Africans - especially when outside Africa. I trawled the main street and spoke to many ladies who generally wanted no less than 300 for a couple of hours and had a shared room only. The main interesting point was this Rwandan who was particularly aggressive and started saying she would 'suck my ass and everything'. Can't remember exactly what she quoted but alarm bells started ringing. Another thing that happened was a sudden stampede of people running away from one end of the street. Never did find out what that was all about. Finally, there was this Irish guy who lives there and I got talking to him. He kept telling me to bargain and not take any shit off the girls. Nice guy. Lucky bastard went off with this cute, short, slim Liberian chick.

Anyway, it must've been well after 4am and the girls were dwindling to a handful. I got talking to this Kenyan who was short, plump with big tits. She finally agreed to 200 for an hour or so (DATY, BJ & FSWC). We ended up going with her friend to their shared flat. It was a shithole near a major hotel chain (can't remember which one!) not too far from the York. DATY was okish. I'm pretty sure BJ was CBJ. FSWC was average. Wouldn't do COF if I remember correctly. Not great VFM.

All in all I wouldn't bother with Dubai in future. Just too expensive for what you get.

Thanks Piper. Any info appreciated as my PRC GF's network are getting seriously short of venues now. Hyatt Regency is off limits to most these days as is Regal and now 'Snake. I can understand barring a few of the groping Africans but not all the PRC. I too wonder what's behind it, as reduced supply can only mean a hike in prices. I'll be interested in what you find out.

Arrived at Rattler around 930pm - outside area was dead - no more lines of WGs at the entrance, no PRC girls hanging around. I asked security "New rules?" He said "Yes, no more bitches".

I asked "No more Russian girls?" He said Russian girls were still allowed in. I tried to find out what the new rules were about, but he would only say that "The owner said no more Chinese and African girls - too many problems".

Word gets around fast - there were absolutley no PRC around - not even turning up to try. A couple of African girls were turned away while I talked to security, and angrily asked security "Why? Because we are not white?!" then headed back to the taxi rank.

I went inside with work pal, and we had a quiet drink. Very quiet. There were about 10 guys and three old CIS. By the time I left around 10:30pm there were about 30 guys and 10 old CIS. The night was young - CIS tend to stream into clubs after 1130pm. I'll ask work pal how it panned out after I left, since he stayed on.

Thanks Piper. That's bad news indeed, especially for the many PRC girls I know that go there. Some have already gone back to China recently because they are not making enough money any more. This will prompt a few more to depart I'm sure if it turns out to be permanent.

This brings me on to something I was going to post about anyway.
Guys, if a WG gives you a good time, reward them accordingly. An extra 100 or 200 might not be a lot to you, but when these girls are supporting family back home it goes a long way. Plus you'll get great repeat business should you want it.

With quite a few leaving because they're not making enough since the demise of Cyclone, Amnesia etc and now, it would seem, Snake, plus the spate of LE raids since late last year, if everyone keeps trying for that cut-price deal it will only prompt more to depart and a lack of supply is going to be bad for all of us.

I hope this door "policy" is going to be temporary, as I can't see the CIS leaving places like Regal and Hyatt regency in droves to fill the void at Snake. And without a decent selection of WGs across the spectrum, I don't think people are going to go there just for the band and the atmosphere, let's face it. If Snake management see a drastic drop in their takings then maybe they'll change their mind.

Anyone else been there/going there in the last/next few days? It would be interesting to hear your experiences and opinions.

I Agree with Steamer, I can’t see the CIS coming in droves to fill the void, and even if they did it would kill the early evening business

So I think something serious must have happened. It’s similar to the situation in the Seaview a while back after the fight between PRC’s and Africans.

I suppose It’s always possible the Metropolitan management wanted a clean up because the ‘Snake was having an adverse affect on the overall business of the hotel, but then you would have thought a complete ban would have been imposed and they would try to rebrand it as a Civilian Place.

Since I have moved it's relative proximity was making me think about a visit. That is now firmly on hold.

Was in Dubai for the last month or so and found that the hotels do have WG's there but they can be pricey, especially early on in the evening.

Hotel Moscow was fun and lots of girls there. I have been coming here for years and my WG-lady friend has retired and returned to the Eastern Bloc, so its time to find a new one.

Have heard that the Hyatt is descent. Any other suggestions? Will be there tonight for 2 days then heading to another city as usual!

Funny that as she texted me 2 days ago wanting me as her 1st customer!!! She obviously tells that to all the guys. Miss J however I had only met briefly in my car last summer with Miss A when I took Miss A home for an eventful evening involving toothpaste. You may remember my previous FR on the subjecyt? I called Miss A in the phillipines and she is back on the 15th I believe.

My PRC informant (ie the guy in the office next to me) tells me that Rattler will be allowing PRCs back in soon - probably within a week. How does he know? - he has three PRC WGs living with him in his apartment in Marina (paying their share of the rent, house-keeping, etc).

My CIS informant (ie the guy in the office across from me) now has two CIS WGs living with him in his apartment near Emirates Mall (paying their share of the rent etc etc ...)

I need to check around the offices for an African informant. :D

On the way to work this afternoon I had an afternoon delight at the Umm Suqqueim AMP (Number '90' for those in the know). Chose a girl called 'Amy'. She was okay, but I wouldn't take her again.
