Hard to explain, but that isn't the way things are now. Not yet anyway. As bars have reopened, bar names have changed, locations in the Plaza have changed, staff has changed. One night or at some bars the deal for the girls is they are on commission only for Lady Drinks. The next night or in other bars the deal is the girl gets a 500 baht daily salary for just showing up, there is no Lady Drink or Barfine quota that if they miss it their monthly salary is reduced and therefore they are under zero pressure to go with a customer. Many girls are happy to get their 500 baht daily salary and some Lady Drink commissions and no way will go with a customer. Girls have told me in their bar the first two Lady Drinks is 100% for the bar with no commission for them. In at least one other case the girl said the mamasan who brought her to that bar gets the commission for the first Lady Drink she scores every night she works there.

I have gone into some go-go bars after skipping a week or two and not seen one girl in them that I saw two weeks earlier.

The point being, it really is a night by night, hour by hour round robin musical chairs deal with these bars for now. And on the streets as well. Mine was issued in May where you get 7 day before and 7 day after to enter. So 14 days to enter. Things happen, flexibility matters was the thinking.

My dates fell within parameters.

Airline wanted a Thai pass approved June 1 or later with valid dates. 3 either way.

No Grandfathering of passes issued prior to June.

I think they are incorrect.

Got another Thai pass with June 10 as entry date.

And for good measure got one for June 11 entry date.

Nana Plaza has to wait one day. Maybe for the best as Friday should be an action day there.
