Hello, everyone,
I need some advice. Please help. I was originally planning to be at Santo Domingo in 4/1/2001. But, because of work I had to cancel my vacation. I am planning to visit Santo Domingo on Christmas and new years week. The last week of December. Is this a good time to visit SD? Are there just as many girls there? Or Do they all go home for the holidays? Anyone with information. I would totally welcome it.

For the Jaguar vets: What is the best way to get info on Jaguar's rooms and rates. My wingman and I are wanting to book there for next month. I went to their website but info on the rooms is scarce. I called, but got a guy that spoke very little English and my Spanish is not fluent. He got my name and number but I haven't got a call back.

Thanks again everyone. [/QUOTE]I went once on Christmas, Dec. 25 to 31 and it was nice. The best thing is that there is no curfew for alcohol sales so bars, discos etc. Can close very late. There is lot of parties there and the time I went there was plenty of chicas too.

Most chicas go home for the holidays. It will be very quiet the 23, 24, and the 25th. Just my opinion from what I saw.

Hotel Santo Domingo, old classic hotel with a landing for helicopters. When I stayed there I thought of the "The Shining" with the kid on the big wheel saying "redrum". When I stayed there, not many guests were there, big hotel, empty hallways.

Some DR chicas with braces don't like to smile, because they are self conscious about their braces. This chica was not self conscious about her braces, LOL. I didn't do anything with her, but have been with at least one DR chica with braces, who gave a good BJ.

[/QUOTE]Google "Vacation Rentals by Owner" I've used this site with success for a past mongering trip to Panama and I've found they have some decent offerings for the DR but have not stayed at any of them. Just click on the map of the DR, then choose your region. Some owners list their phone numbers and you can just call them directly, others use the email links. You pay nothing for this service, except your rental fees to the owner of course. The property owners pay VRBO to list their properties. Most listings have good photos of inside and out. If you google "Santo Domingo rental property" a few more sites are there. Last time I checked there were several good options listed.
I wrote a e-mail asking them do they have wi fi and is it in the rooms and the guy answer me back and said yes. Well I wanted to be sure that we were on the same page so I sent another e-mail and asked him I am talking about having internet service in the room not having to be in a hotel lobby and again says they have in the rooms now.
Has anyone stayed there recently?
