so i flew in on the 12th and i was lucky enough to sit behind two guys who drank their duty free and acted like total idiots. there was spitting of water, harrassing people, it was pure class. i was hoping that security would be waiting when we landed to drag them away but alas, no such luck.
i am staying at the federal hotel which is off soi 11. its 1500 a night and i got one of the newly renovated rooms, but i kinda wish i had stayed at the royal asia lodge again for 1k a night. federal is ok, but its a bit of a hike as well as its kinda like a motel. pool is nice but there is some major construction going on next door and we had some debris float down into the pool. however the big minus points are the ac sounding like a shower every 30 mins, i woke up a couple of times thinking someone was in the shower. also the bed was as hard as a rock!! not a pleasant thing to sleep in and the tv channels totally sucked as well. only had like star movies and bbc news which were of any interest.
but went for a wander when i got in and got an oil massage at a place next to eden. i am trying to be more assertive now when it comes to picking the girls because the last times i was here i would just go along with any girl they threw me with. the girl i got was ok tho and was complaining that i was only her 2nd customer of the day. she tried to upsell a happy ending at the end because of the low customers that day, but i refused. i paid up 300 for the hour and tipped her 20baht. she didnt look happy with that, but i wasnt concerned.

Last night I was coming home at about 1am and came along that back road to Petchaburi that is behind the Siam Coffeshop (that back alley type of road next to the railway line..very well known)...there were some really beautiful girls there and mostly all the white or at least fair skinned Thai spec variety..the girls were asking 1,300THB for short time but had to be at nearby hotel and wouldnt come back to my apartment in Sukhumvit....i was very impressed with the quality of the girls..very impressed.

I went to the new La Belle last night. Had a very good time, excellent service, much better than anything else I have had in Bangkok of late, even the legendary Yok from Tulip.
La Belle, if you haven't been yet, is worth the visit. The interior reminds me a of a new moderm hotel (think W). It's clean and modern. Huge tub, with all the bells and whistles. Big Karoke system in the room, run by the computer. Took the girl, manager, housekeeper and myself to get it all sorted out at the beginning.

I'm heading to BKK next week and after your report started checking my maps and googling. But, I can't place the Siam Coffeeshop and reports suggest that the old Siam Hotel has been torn down.
