How early is too early to make contact when you're on their turf? I first used seeking years ago to meet girls before a pleasure trip outside of my city. I started one month out and pretty much had a lineup in a couple weeks so I decided to see how it worked locally. Had never considered using it locally, don't know why, just didn't. Found 2 amazing girls, great chemistry with both but made the rookie mistake of not closing the deal even though we were at my house at the end of the first meeting. Mutually agreed to see both (separately) after my trip, including ppm amounts, and upon my return both ghosted me. It occurred to me that I had basically given them both a couple weeks to do better than me which they apparently did.
Like Steve, I get excited and start searching several weeks, sometimes months, before the date of travel. I'll buy an account two months out, reasoning that pros will have no patience for something that far out and they'll be turned off immediately when I tell them I'm two months out (I don't use seeking for pros, at most semi pros, but prefer legit girls next door). I also figure the targets are on the fence at best but have probably done this once or twice and understand there needs to be some kind of connection other than money so a convo over several weeks to build that connection works in both of our favors. She's less likely to flake if she's got time invested other than what, where, when, and how much.
So what's too early / what's ideal? I've got a paid account on another sugar site appropriate to my destination but has been dead for a couple weeks. It exploded recently by simplying following up with girls that had replied with something basic to my original ice breaker. As I was hoping, the time wasters and pros didn't give me the time of day after I told them I was more than a month out.
