I agree. He's giving you some good information. Downloading the Uber app to your phone is free. They have wifi access inside the airport. If you are arriving in SDQ, an Uber will be approximately 10 or less minutes away. The price to your destination is already known without bullshit.
Uber also gives you the car model and color, the License plate, and picture of the driver.
I use Uber a lot, but there's always the possibility of "bullshit," especially in the the. Are.
A lot of the. Are. Uber drivers are current or former cab drivers who are only driving for Uber grudgingly. They don't like Uber's lower prices, and they really don't like the huge cut that the the. R, especially among tourists who don't have internet access while in the streets, is for the driver to show up, cancel the ride in the Uber app while en route to the destination, and then demand payment in cash. I'm not saying not to use Uber, just be careful, and make sure to have some cash on you just in case the driver pulls any B. S.

The country will have the first low-cost airline.
Flycana will be led by three industry entrepreneurs.
The airline formerly known as Dominican Wings announced the introduction of "Flycana", the Caribbean's first low-cost airline.
The flycana airline will have initial rates from USD 49 (plus taxes and fees) to travel by plane to different destinations such as New York. Air tickets can be purchased soon on flycana.com. Today we are proud to announce the birth of flycana as the only low cost airline in the Dominican Republic, "said Vctor Miguel Pacheco, founder of Dominican Wings.
Flycana will be led by three big industry entrepreneurs with more than 50 years of joint experience in the world of aviation: Vctor Pacheco, William Shaw and Mike Po-well.
Pachecho affirmed that in order to materialize this dream the experience brought by partners like William Shaw and Mike Powell is required.
Shaw is founder and former CEO of VivaColombia and VivaAir Peru, today known as VivaAir, he initiated and successfully managed these 2 ultra low cost airlines in Latin America that today transport more than 5 million passengers a year.
Powell, former CFO of Wizz Air, airline that transports more than 23 million passengers a year in Europe and current president of the board of flybondi, the first low cost in Argentina.
Listin Diario, the newspaper of the Dominicans. News Santo Domingo.
The Cmdr is here! Still braving personal insults from my critics to bring you informative news and insights.
Still hitting the hooka, drinking rum, and fucking the hottest of the hot chicas in Republica Dominican (Dominican Republic).
Please note for anyone that happens to be interested: I am black by popular demand. And I've always been on the dark side. I was born that way.
As you all should be aware by now, the ISG has been placed on some list where some bright bub in the USA Credit Card business is refusing to process their credit card payments for ISG memberships.
The ban may be limited to their present credit card processor, but the possibility exists that other "me too" financial agencies may follow suit.
They are asking for USA Citizens to contact their elected politicians to protest, but that will go nowhere. It is a rare individual who will stand up for mongering rights in this political climate.
But like all such schemes, there are too many ways around it to seriously interfere with the freedom we presently have on how and where to spend our own hard earned money!
Wow do you think the big companies will allow them to undercut them like that?
This new airline has some heavy hitters at the top with some very serious "ultra low cost" cred. Founder William Shaw is stepping down from the leadership at Viva Air and leaving as it's president Declan Ryan, son of Ryanair co-founder Tony Ryan. Founders don't like to give up control of their babies. But as you can see these cats know what they are doing in the airline industry and Latin America.
It all depends on if the governments of the United States and the Dominican Republic lets them do their thing or if they start fucking up their program because the legacy players got the right politicians in their pocket. The founders know how to start, build and run a airline! Don't get me started on corruption because in my opinion it runs deep in both governments (although this may not be the place for The CMDR to get into politics). Although I could be wrong.
A weaveless brown-skin Dominican coworker of mine from La Vega just got her ancestry.com results back. Very interesting.

Something that some may have wondered about. Of course each person's history is unique to them, but an interesting mix of Europe, Africa, and native American (Taino). European, (Spain, Britain, S. Europe, European Jew) 45%, African, 37%, Native American, 7%.

https://youtu.be/7_-PpFfb1IM
Nobody takes this stuff seriously, not even the putas!
It is all part of the SP game.
If you go down there often enough, you'll get all this BS and more.
I have hung around with DR hookers and ex-hookers and they laugh about this stuff!
They themselves laugh, and wonder why it sometimes works on these Norte Americano and Canadian tourista dupes, like us. They certainly have no respect for the poor fish they catch!
If you take this shit seriously, you already have problems, and you shouldn't be out on the street alone! You are not getting the joke!
LOL.
One of my wing men is going to SD next week and Sosua later. He plans to stay with a chica he met in Sosua. She lives on a military base he believes. I advised him not to depend on a local girl for your survival. She has 2 or 3 kids and rarely are thier home up to American standards. I am coming the following week to SD. I am trying to choose which girl to spend my time with. The question is to be client or a friend with benefits. At my age this is a woderful problem to have.
