Can someone who actually knows how much it costs to hire a prostitute in Brazil please chime in on the issue?
1000 B a day is very cheap in Brazil. Some can spend what he pays for a month in a week in SP. 100 to more than 200 USD for an hour is common depending on where you go.
A good high end restaurant with drinks is down to $USD 32. A medium quality session for 60 min about the same price.

You can check the same thing about Argentina to see it now.
And when I go to Argentina next month, I will change my dollars every day or two, only converting as much as I need in the very short term. Because the Argentinian peso is dropping regularly.
I went to Argentina a couple of years ago, and the peso was about 400, now its 1025 or so to the dollar.
I am doing the same with the Real, plus I use credit cards to pay for as much as possible, since that's the best exchange rate.
I understand the concept completely. It is simply a matter of you doing what you want to do. I agree that you should do what it is that you want to do.
Your time, Your money, Your dick, Your call!
What I don't understand is why you think I should believe your male bovine excrement that it is less expensive to fly a Thai prostitute halfway around the world, than it is to hire a prostitute in Brazil. When I asked you to justify it by putting some hard numbers on the assertion you have been silent. Can someone who actually knows how much it costs to hire a prostitute in Brazil please chime in on the issue? Because if I am wrong in my assertion I would like to be corrected. So I can plan to fly my Thai prostitutes to Brazil when I plan my visit there and not even bother with the prostitutes that are in Brazil.
Some guys just lie! I quoted the post about my big night out in Pattaya and yet he repeats the lie about the amount of money I spent (as if he routinely does that and knows how much a night like that costs).
Nobody here cares how much you spent in a bar, but my memory is that you claimed to spend about $1000. Maybe it was $950, but its a case of "the lady dost protesth too much".
As for the price of 24 hours with a lady in Copacabana, I don't think I have that much money.

Can someone who actually knows how much it costs to hire a prostitute in Brazil please chime in on the issue?
I've never met the guy and don't know why you and others believe he's lying. Maybe you guys have a history, but the math here works if that's what you're asking. So let's talk about the math.
The hourly rates in Rio can be very cheap, like $30 at the current exchange rate (as long as we're not talking top-tier escort).
However, hiring 24/7 is a different matter.
I personally love Brasileiras too much to bring my own girl to Brazil, but this is not about me. The daily rates can vary widely depending on so many factors that it's pointless to even try to pin down. But let's say you manage to make a deal on a cheaper end of things for $200 per 24 hours. Now you might be able to get them even cheaper, but for that you have to be Vagabundo who actually lives in town. Finding a cheaper deal for a visiting tourist (and with a girl you'll really want to be with for a such a long time) is nearly impossible.
So, I played a little with the Google Flights prices between BKK and GRU. Here are your extra expenses for bringing your girl from Thailand.
- Airfare: let's say $1,500 RT.
- Hotel or other lodging: $0 (you pay for it anyway).
- Food: $0 (you must pay for the girl even if you hire locally).
- Tours and entertaining: $0 (same thing).
- Gifts and tips: $0 (you pay for it anyway if you feel like it).
Let's say you're hiring for 10 days. In this case all your EXTRA expenses for bringing a Thai girl to Brazil are $150 a day, which is already cheaper than hiring locally. The longer your trip--the higher the savings.
Now, since the OP has mentioned he has miles, the whole flight portion could cost him just $100+ in taxes, although I can imagine the routing would be a bit convoluted.
Again, this argument only covers the material part of the equation, not whether or not bringing sand to the beach is smart and sensible. If you think of her as "sand", probably not.
But again, from the money point of view it can work.
I personally don't usually do the whole wifing-up thingy. I love variety and get annoyed from the same face rather quickly, at which point all I want is for her to go. Every now and then, though, you find someone you want to spend more time with. Nothing wrong about that.
If the OP likes the girl and wants to be with her, rather than a stranger with a snatch (my favorite, LOL), I don't see a problem here. Like you said: his money, his dick.
Well you used to always be able to find Americans at Meia Pataca when Help was open. I mean if you wanted to bump into a native English speaker from the States that was as sure a thing as it gets.
Yeah, 2000 through 2009 there were plenty of foreigners in Rio, most from the USA. Whether it was Meia Pataca, Help, Terrace Atlantico, or the Termas, we were all over the tourist areas. In fact there were quite a few observations on sites like this one that Gringos were ruining the scene (no one used the phrase "Passport Bros" back then). When Help closed, things changed significantly.
OTOH, in Sao Paulo I've rarely run into many foreign visitors.

Meia Pataca and Help had a smaller part of tourists from US. It seemed like they often kept to themselves. Often sitting in a big group around a table in Help, sharing a bottle of Red Label. The girls in Help often joked that these groups had Rodízio de whisky.

In other brazilian cities the situation looked different. Italians in large majority in Fortaleza, Germans in Recife and Scandinavians in Natal. Easily explained by the number of direct flights with package tours going to these cities.

Inflexible in what way? Do think I should convert all my dollars the first day?
Or not go to Argentina?
What's your point?
What The Cmdr Got
Two premium bottles. Set ups. Entire booth reserved for me and my friends. Buying Lady Drinks for up to three girls at a time that were sitting in just their thongs and stockings for me the entire night. No need to buy any special drinks, racks of Tequila or any of that shit. Shots being sent over complements of the General Manager. Buying a drink for the Mamason and having her share with with us at my table. Short Time room and Short Time with the girl of my choice.
Plus having a girl in various stages of undress up on my table dancing for 80% of the time. I was in the club from 1930 until it closed down at 0300. Even bought extra drinks one time for my girls so they did not have to dance.
The General Manager came over to add me to their exclusive VIP Line group. He also stored my bottles for the next time I visit. Which means in the long run it will be much cheaper as I am sure I'll get at least one or two more visits out of my bottles before I need to re-up.
16395 THB cash not scan.
My time; My money; My dick; My call!
P.S. I just got my first set of pictures for the line up today at Heaven Best in Line because of my VIP status.
Explorer lies too much!

Explorer lies too much!
If that is the only post where you bragged about how much you spent in a Thai bar, then I was wrong.
Meanwhile, you continue to rag on me about how much money I spend on ladies here in Brazil. For no particular reason.
But, on the 28th, I will be a free man. My plan is to move to Lapa for a few days and check out the downtown prives. More importantly, I need some solo time to work on my Portuguese, which is very rusty.
And then my Mexican lady shows up on the 8th next month, she is more expensive than the Thai lady, but the plane ticket is much cheaper.
SubCmdr will be thrilled to know that I will probably visit Sosua (or what's left of it) in February, before heading back to Thailand.
What's your point?
You stuck with old information and not make new observation even when being advised to. That keeps you thinking you are right when you are wrong.
I've never met the guy and don't know why you and others believe he's lying. Maybe you guys have a history,
I put up the proof of his lies so if you read my post where I made the statement and you have adequate reading comprehension in English then I don't know why you are still wondering why I believe he is lying.
As for history yes, ever since I have been posting in the Thailand threads that mother fucker has been trolling my ass nearly every other post. I guess you don't read the Thailand Threads much otherwise it would be easy to notice the amount of male bovine excrement he drops out of his keyboard over there. He has had nearly a year to meet me. But it is much easier for him to hide behind his computer screen and beat on his keyboard while talking a whole lotta shit about me.
I appreciate your input on the costs. But the only thing it confirmed in my mind is that the mother fucker is too cheap to buy a lady drink, but will drop 1500 USD to fly Thai Pussy to Brazil.
You are damn right I said: His time; His money; His dick; His call. So why is the mother fucker talking shit about the money I post about spending? He even gone a far as accusing me of tax evasion in Thailand.
I stated very clearly that I don't give a fuck about how he spends his money or how much cum he eat out of the pussies of his Thai girls that have husbands and boyfriend that blow sponge up in them before they come over to his place in Thailand and sit on his face. At least with the plane flight the cum has a chance to drain out of the pussy and onto the panties so all he needs todo is have her take a shower and use clean panties.
Perhaps he can let us know if the pussy of his favorite Thai girls taste different without the semen of the their husbands and boyfriends mixed up in their pussy juice.
How you like me now?
You stuck with old information and not make new observation even when being advised to. That keeps you thinking you are right when you are wrong.
Are you still going on about my comment that the economy is crashing in Argentina?
I am not there, but I can see that the Argentinian peso is still dropping. As long as the Peso is weak, that's an indicator that things are not good in Argentina.
Also, I am not seeing many Argentinian tourists here in Rio de Janeiro.
