Based on personal exp I would strongly advise you to avoid mongering in Goa. Everything mentioned by fellow members is true. Even if you land a safe deal, chances are the birds will prove to be dead fish. Happened to me and my buddies last yr. Was led on a treasure hunt from calangute beach finally to Mapusa bus stand. These guys watch you carefully. In Mapusa stand they park a qualis with birds inside. You can choose, pay and take them with you. But NOT worth it. I have also heard it's a tie-up with cops.

In goa try picking up firang chicks in Anjuna area. Takes skill! I have never succeeded yet.

On the same road there is one more which relates to tulasi. It's also the same! avoid always, even it is for free its a waste of your time.

I suggest please avoid Goa totally. That is not a place for mongering. Try to take someone along and have fun. If you are ultra lucky you may hook up with a foreigner but that is also risky off-late.

Local taxi drivers etc may promise but certainly not risk-free. Enjoy the beach, food, drink and "sight seeing". If you go now you will get to see awesome white babes of different size and shape.
