I am fairly well familiar with the Thai lady half of the ownership of Random, Random II and the Random beer bar that used to be on Soi 7 and have taken a few girls on her recommendation. Other than a general positive or negative reply whenever I ask, "How's business?" I have never considered asking her about the details of her income and overhead.
But there are so many ways for the bars to "pay" a girl to show up with a nominal daily rate and LD commissions I know there are many girls who only hustle drinks, create a party atmosphere and rarely go with a customer during their regular shift hours. And the owners work it out so they make enough and more to keep their doors open and pay for their upscale condo living conditions.
And many, many of the girls throughout Nana Plaza, 1st tier, 2nd tier or 5th tier bars, are apparently making a comfortable enough living on the LDs and compliant customers to say No and mean it to having anything but covered virtually everything with me for the usual 3,000 baht ST quote. LOL. So there is that.

Some tips from my recent weekend trip to Bangkok:
- get a Thai Friendly membership (minimum is one-month) a week before you go and hit up all the women you want and book time with them.
- double book because some women will get cold feet and not come as planned or you might change plans based on when a hotter woman replies.
- I got 3 women, a uni student, a social media marketer, and a housemaid for an average of THB 2,500 with tips (about THB 200-300).
- benefit of this approach, you can negotiate what you want with the women directly and there are no middlemen, I got 2 shots for 2 hours.
- be ready to be frustrated as you build a rapport on TF because the women reply on their own sweet time, sometimes days later and when you least expect it, making you change your existing bookings.
- prepare to host the women and consider having beer and snacks, this helped me break the ice and have my way with the women, plus afterwards you can relax with post-coital conversations, all 3 women stayed around afterwards to chat naked in bed with me while we drank and ate.
- stay at the Amara in Surawong, guest friendly, rooftop swimming pool, rooms at the back are slightly away from other buildings and great for doggy with drapes open.
- women are going to be 60-70% of the TF pics, but maybe because I was lucky, I had women I'the never reject, also fully natural, which is what I love.
- eat at Baan Khanita, as authentic Thai as you can get.
- eat at Nan Tei, authentic Japanese yakitori.
- listen to jazz at Silwai Sound Club, great and reasonably priced cocktails and lovely jazz band.
- prepare to be disappointed at Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, girls were asking for 3 K ST, I didn't even bother to negotiate because I had the TF women, so be prepared to do a bit of haggling.
- go before midnight, because I got the dregs at the bottom of the barrel I guess because the mamasans said all the good ones were already ST or LT by the time I got there.
- Hilary 2 (a bro's recommendation on this channel) is a great place to end the night, live music band is great, also I thought the women were at least one point better than the ladies at Soi Cowboy or Nana Plaza (maybe it's the beer goggles) and the dancing.

I think the hostess / door girls don't make much. I know some dancers are paid 400 per night. Can't imagine the door girls would make more than 800. Not that much to a foreginer but to an undecuated isan girl it is probably a good wage.
