Just some suggestions. If you are married or have a girl friend or parents (which is the case I think with most of us) you should be extra careful when you do the extra curricular activities.

1. Don't ever (ever) give your regular mobile number or home number to any MP, working girl, pimp, etc. or call them using your regular number. Have a separate SIM and use that when you are making calls. If you use your regular SIM, they may call back and your wife, mother, etc. may answer. Don't leave your secret SIM activated when the phone is unattended. (i. e. when you are in the shower, etc.) If you have an unregistered SIM (SIMs issued before all these Taliban laws came and which you didn't register afterwards) use that as the secret SIM. Even police wouldn't be able to track you. You can forward calls to your regular SIM to the secret SIM so that you won't miss any regular calls while you are using the secret SIM (but your phone records may show that you have some relationship with the secret SIM) but not vise versa since all your sleezy calls will come to your regular number and your wife may answer.

2. You can use Skype to call regular phones after buying Skype credit. The call will go to US from your PC and from there it will come to SL as an international calls. The call recipient wouldn't see any number other than either the number the Skype server uses or some irrelevant number. But will cost you Rs. 22 per minute because it is an IDD call coming to SL from US. Or if you are rally creative, you can buy a calling card that SL expats use to call SL from UK and call the number given in that card from your regular mobile and then call the SL number. You will be charged double, IDD call from your mobile to the UK number and the call from UK back to LK. It will be somewhat expensive but will be less than Rs. 50 per minute. Anyway, what is Rs 50 compared to your privacy. :-)

3. Avoid joints in areas where you are likely to hangout with your family or the area where you live or where your relatives or family friends live. Incidents like what you have mentioned regarding Ajja can happen.

4. Avoid taking your own vehicle to go to these places. You wouldn't want somebody to recognize your vehicle parked in front of a brothel do you? You can park your vehicle in the nearest public car park and take a taxi, 3wheeler or just walk. If you use a taxi or 3 wheeler don't get down right in front of the place. Get down about 50 meters away and walk. Also when you are done, walk a bit and then get a 3 wheeler and avoid hanging around in front of the place waiting for a 3 wheeler.

5. Have a separate 'mongering' wallet and only take your ID, driver's license and cash when you go mongering. Leave your credit cards, personal info, visiting cards, etc. in your regular wallet. Make an excuse for having 2 wallets like you don't want to loose your cards when you are at the Gym, swimming pool, etc. so that your wife wouldn't wonder why you have 2 wallets.

6. Always have some cock and bull story ready to justify you being in that area if somebody has seen you. eg. if you visited JG at mount and somebody later said that he has seen you go down hotel road at mount, you should be able to say something like "Oh, yah, I went there to get the rates of Berjaya for our annual company party." You should have this story ready even before you go to JG in the first place so even if you bump in to somebody on your way, you have the excuse at the tip of your tongue.

7. Keep your sleazy digital data (eg. digital photos of nude girls, contact info, etc.) encrypted on your PC. Never keep the digigal photos in your camera or phone for long. Your wife may just browse or you may accidently show her or some friend or family member when they ask to view a photo you have just taken on a birthday party or outing. Transfer them to your PC or laptop as soon as possible and store them in an encrypted drive/folder. You can use truecrypt. Just google truecrypt. It's free. It's so safe that not even police will be able to decrypt it without the password.

8. Always have a close friend who is aware of your mongering activities whom you can trust to bail you out if you get caught in a raid without having to call your wife or father. :-)

A excellent post by LongShank. Another important thing to remember is that if you love taking kinky pictures/videos using your mobile, please immediately send it to your laptop (which should be immediately accesible, I usually carry mine on those occasions), as otherwise your phone can be stolen while you are on your way home and all your pictures will be posted on the internet the following day! Also as Longshank told, please use some form of encryption, truecrypt is good, even a ZIP file using encryption is as good but use a good password. Please dont save unencrypted images to USB drives or computers, as someone i know got into trouble when his honeymoon pics got leaked, it was either from his lost USB drive or when he gave his PC for repair. Mobile phones can be killers and be carefull, we all remember what happend to the high ranking suntel officer whose self made videos using his phone got posted on the internet when he showed them to his friends.

BTW Didn't you try our good old Thallu start (push start), usually it works on diesel vehicles even if the battery is dead.
