Golden Soul Hotel, at the end of Samdach after you cross over Norodom: Another fishbowl. Saw the line up and walked out. Not bad but just didn't get the vibe I wanted. Seems to be more oriented to Asian guys.
Paris Hotel was the best one I knew but the fishbowl has reportedly been eliminated.

i am talking about realtime skype video conferencing type stuff, i will need to do that. my trip, if i come, would be for business.

They will not come down, even if you say that you can get one outside the airport parking lot of 3-4 dollar. Walk 100 meters from arrivals to the main road and you will see it. All those tuk tuk beggars waiting outside the gates want to charge you 5 dollar. Just wait until you a nice tuk tuk on the way home, and if you stop him, no more than 3-4 dollar.

i haven't searched, but i believe if you contact their support they give you a trial time. they are extremely responsive and helpful.

If they refuse, go to the next one. There is a line of 10+ at any given time. Same price to get back to the airport from anywhere in the city. Taxi is only $9 according to official prices. Tell them you'll give $7 and they'll take it.
I went to the Yang Mey #28 Street 252. The name has been changed. The new name is 252 Massage Karaoke. I went about 345 in the afternoon. Too early I guess but they had about 20 girls. None really impressed me. An older woman at with me as I was going to select the one I wanted. I asked the price for sex and she would only tell me $10 for a massage, $25 for a good one. I spend a few minutes asking her to cut the bs and give me the price. She would not and I just got pissed off and left. Just don't want to pay the $10 to find the rest of the cost unreasonable. I must say I was very disappointed. Had the price been fair I would have stayed.
Recently returned from visit to Phnom Penh after 5 Years. Got to say prices have increased considerably but me and my mates had great time and as this is one of our two lads tours away we were not really counting the pennies.
Stayed at Himawari and have no complaints and after my earlier query. Yes it was user friendly and they phoned to check if all ok when girls left. Nice pool and gym.though a few to many kids on Sunday. A few of the girls and owner of from Golden Vine came for a swim and no issues with that.
Eating. I never eat much on our tours. Ate at Paddy Rice a couple of times. Very average burger and very good pizza and good buckets of SML. Somehow ended up at restuarant under the Lounge. Not bad but expensive.
Bars. Golden Vine. Had a real laugh in here and spent a fair bit. Girls were pretty average in looks but were a good laugh and we got on with owner as she was a Viet and we share our views of Vietnam. We took out a few girls and most the guys were happy. I had two contrasting girls. First night Linda who was great fun and we. Somehow ended up with some others at disco at Nagaworld but it went wrong back in room around 3am.I had got her too pissed and she was sick. Offered her 20 bucks best leave but she wouldn't, eventually got my mates girl to get her to leave. Gather she got a right load of trouble off her boss the next day when the other girl told on her. On last night got a sweet girl (older but sweet smile) think called Roth.learnt my lesson she did not drink- sweet girl and great BBBJ.
Zanzibar- Had a laugh in here but no doubt got our bill padded. Some nice girls in here looks wise. Acuple of nice spinners and did not know which one to take. In the end took the less pro one and not the one with tats. Nice girl and great as a spinner. Cannot remember her name.

Oscars. Terrible music and only a couple of good girls. Left afte one beer.
Best Bar. Liked this one but our group was moving on.

Went to a couple of others but really can't remember too much about them.
Anyway a good trip and I actually enjoyed the trip as the rest of lads did. I had previously used the freelance places and this time stayed to hostess bars so it proved more expensive but definitely more fun and will be back. Oh and nice to see that departure tax has gone fom airport was always a pain in the ass.

Average girls.[/quote]Singer Bar is not exactly across the street from Best 136 Bar, but it's close. Since there is usually 1 ladyboy for each 5 ladies, that's probably where you ended up. It's in the same group as Candy and Butterfly. I usually avoided those places because the girls tend to ask ridiculous rates for ST and LT.

Going to be doing a SEA Tour after completing my job in Korea. So far the plan is to hit Manila, Cebu, Dumaguete, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, and Bangkok.
Background: 27 year old from the states.
Normal routine is set up a day date and so some sight seeing. Then go out dancing, drinking, and picking up women at night. Sometimes with a date, other times solo. Will be trying to keep costs and expenses down considerably due to the length of my trip.
From reading the last 10 pages or so from the forum I have gathered this intel.
Logistics: Only two locations of note. Soyra shopping area and Riverside. Leaning towards Riverside especially if I can get to Soyra very cheaply. Looking for the best bang for my buck in the range of 15-25 USD. Here is some hotels I noted from reading the forum.

The Royal is out of your price range.
In fact given that you so willingly stump up US$4 as financial gifts for your Pinay conquests you might find PP to be a tad expensive. Generally US$20 covers most ladies. You will be quoted much higher than that in HOD and Pontoon as your relative youth will work against you. All the girls know that the young lads in there generally don't have two beans to rub together.

As noted elsewhere in this forum, the Paris Hotel fishbowl is gone. I saw a local report that said someone had been busted for that sort of operation (it didn't mention any names). When I went there yesterday, an old Khmer fella was wheezing "min har, min har" at me with great emotion. He spoke no English but kept saying that and waving frantically in a westerly direction.
On a hunch I decided to explore in a westerly direction and, lo and behold, found the Mean Haur (not to be confused with the unforgiving minute!) hotel.
There was the familiar fishbowl, Viet girls in yellow, Khmer in pink. They have a extra step in the process, presumably to keep the massage operation on a lawful footing. It adds $6 to the cost.
