It's More Than Just A Function Of The Exchange Rate
5 years ago, most El Centro casas were charging about 45 k for 30 minutes. With the exchange rate just under 3 k, the cost was $15. Now they charge around 55 k, which costs $14. The prices of food, lodging and transportation have all gone up, while the cost of pussy has gone down and you're bitching that paying less is too expensive?
I can remember 10 years ago when it was even more expensive than five years ago for pussy when the exchange rate was closer to 2 K.
It kind of defies logic to think that pussy has actually gotten cheaper over the past decade in Colombia, yet all the other things you mention have gone up.
So in looking at this, along with the complications brought on by the Pandemic, and the onslaught of the Vennies over the years, makes sense pussy hasn't gone up here, but is in process, albeit slowly in Colombia in my opinion.
Yet in other Countries, like Mexico as an example, prices have gone up a lot since the Pandemic from what I hear.
Daytime visits to the Mansion
In general, you can't get into the Mansion daytime unless you are staying there. There are no rooms by the hour or half day. You can get into the mansion bar at night. Rooms are around 80-100 US / day. Hotel website is www.hotelmedelinplaza.com for prices and photos of rooms.
As I vaguely recall, during my first visit to Medellin (3 years ago,) as well, I stopped by the Mansion early one PM to check it out, and the manager let me hangout by the pool with the chicas by paying the standard bar cover fee. And I could have lingered longer and patronized the bar later in the PM, without having to pay more. Seemed to be a standard policy at the time and I imagine still in effect. Happy hunting.
Agree except for your semantics
My impression from my first trip to Colombia was that dollar for dollar its one of the countries where a woman's physical beauty is the least valuable in the world.
I would say "most valuable in the world" because the value is great, not the price. But I understand your point, and I agree. I know, you might not care, but from the otherwise effective way you write I thought you might. Ostee Out.
