Walk down Soi 4 from Nana Plaza and turn left in the little alley at The Tavern, often has girls sitting on folding chairs at the entrance to the alley, right?

And back then a couple of those small hotels had rooms that were quite fine for ST, as you describe. Some I could have booked for all night 2-3 days in a row if I had just arrived and was checking out the area. DiRoom or something like that was the name of one as I recall. But the room as described by the excellent Trip Reporter Mr. York sounds like the shitty ST room that I experienced once a few years ago near the Mandarin GoGo bar on the second level of Nana Plaza at the top of the escalator.

However, I didn't think any of those ST rooms in Nana Plaza were reopened yet and would not reopen until next year. At least that's what I was told by an idle maid or guard sitting inside the one more or less between Random 1 and the LB bar Straps a few weeks ago. BTW, that one had the best of the on premises Nana Plaza ST rooms pre Covid.

Otherwise, I don't know what ST rooms in or near Nana Plaza posters are talking about. Maybe some of the pre Covid acceptable ones went into deep decline over the past 2 years.

Granted I'm coming in with US Dollars, but on average, Thailand is still cheap as hell. Especially when it comes to services involving girls. The only exception are the gogo bars. So it was doubly awful. But for the short time place just outside Cowboy, it wasn't half bad. Granted the chick I had was fantastic, but the room itself was ok.
