I'll be in Lima soon. I'll use SA and visit freelance hangouts like Tequilla Rock. A few questions:
- Anyone have experience using SA in Lima? What are the typical arrangement terms?
- Are there other freelance bars / cubs other than Tequilla Rock? And is Tequilla Rock open these days?
- What are the current freelancer rates?

Heading to Lima a few days earlier than planned and looking to book a new hotel to cover those days. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good girl-friendly hotel? Doesn't have to be super fancy, but not looking for a dump either.
I was looking at the Crowne Plaza, does anyone know if that one allows guests not on the original booking?

Tequila Rock has been closed for sometime and it seems that this time is for good I am afraid.
Pizza alley has also gone thru some transformation. They have cleaned out SWs and now you can see entire families enjoying a meal.
Lima appears to be getting back to normal so expect to have a good time.
Just have to look for what you like.

My guess is that by this summer, most things will get back to normal. Everybody is tired and longing to normality.
Nightlife in Lima has always been vivid and as for company.
I'm sure you'll have some great time there. I miss Lima.

Tekila Rock is back in business, I went to check it out some two weeks ago. Maybe I was not lucky, maybe it was a bad day or maybe it's just that it needs a little more time to catch up, but the girl's quality was not quite as it was before the pandemia and the attendance (guys and girls alike) was quite low. Girls were asking for USD 100 (or 350/400 soles) average, none of them were worth that much to my taste.

It is more like the old Emmanuelle, but there are lots of and girls for all tastes there. Opens 10:00 pm, sometimes 11:00 pm, but nothing really happens there before midnight or, more likely, 1:00 am. I'd recommend to be there around 11:30 pm so you have time to have a drink or two, feed your eyes and get into the atmosphere of the place before deciding your move.

The TR sign is covered or it has been taken down.
Perhaps at night there is a different scene or 2 weeks ago is old news.

The Miraflores municipality (City Hall) is bent on "cleaning" the more centric areas in the district so I wouldn't be surprised if it is closed again.
In any case your news are fresher than mine and, therefore, more reliable.

I will visit Lima in 2 weeks, staying in San Isidro / Lince area for 2 weeks.
Here are my notes from the previous 200 messages, which goes back to the worst of the pandemic. Thanks for all the good info. This is what I found useful for my trip. I'm not criticizing the rest. Some are clearly one man's opinion. My comments are in.
Pizza Alley (Calle de las Pizzas in Miraflores) has been gentrified and is not like before. Tequila Rock is closed.
Every business / restaurant / market will ask for your vaccination card, just show a phone pic of it & passport. 2/14/22.
I believe there's a double-mask mandate. Even outside. I was denied entry to a grocery store because I was only wearing one mask instead of two. 2/14.
Las Sirenitas - 10 soles entrance ticket 100 m from club entrance, same side, tickets sign, at a mechanic shop, then knock on LS door if closed. 10/19/21. Best time to go is middle-late afternoon while most men are still working.
Geishas in Santa Anita, same mgt as Las Sirenitas {Google Maps shows both}, layout and atmosphere same, 10 soles to get in, and 50 soles for the deed (15 minutes, not sure). 9/21. The women who work at Geishas are much older, and much less fit as compared to those at Las Sirenitas. One gent said arrived shortly after 16:00 when it reopens (closes 14:00 - 16:00), another aimed to get there 3-4 pm. Discrepancy.
Apps Glambu and Seeking arrangement: pay to join, find different kinds of girls, most of them young from all areas of the city.
A brothel tip: take an incoming taxi that has just delivered his customer to the brothel; that way you can be sure that, at least the customer right before you, arrived to destination safely.

Antigen test was 69 soles at Clinica Gonzalez in Lince. Probably more on web. Suizalab will visit your house for the test for an extra 50 soles. Antigen (the 3-6 hour result test) is fine. You do need your passport with you for the covid test. 2/14.
