Some are well tended girlfriends or wives of men who are out of town and the girls were itching to doll up, see if they've still "got it" to attract attention and are happy to just do what many, many girls in bars all around the world are there to do; get free drinks and reject men.

I assure you that over the last week to 10 days, I have seen ladies that certainly appear to be civies in each of the locations. Hotness is a personal definition. If your definition of Hot girls is only the so called "HiSo" girls then you might be right.

I was only writing about what I witnessed on that evening and what information a professional lady shard with me over a leisurely drink. Take it for what it is worth. I am pretty sure I am not prone to posting things that are not factual or personally experienced.

I'm talking about the hottest girls in the line ups outside of almost every go-go bar on Soi Cowboy and a few spots in Nana Plaza. Unless hustling expensive Lady Drinks counts as an act of prostitution, they are for all practical purposes "civilians" working a "civilian" job.

Again, sure, if you trot out the "If I offered one $1,000,000" bit or perhaps even 7,000 - 8,000 baht in a few cases, the girl might jump on the offer and meet you after hours. But they are not hired by the agency / bar to accept offers of sex for money and they did not show up looking for P4 P customers. For the most part, when their shift is over they head back to their boyfriends or husbands.

I assume places like Levels and Oskar Bistro are not dressing up the place with hot girls hired to merely appear as though they are available for P4 P and therefore theirs is a great place to hang out, buy a ton of drinks and see how it goes. But I wouldn't put anything past any entertainment venue here until proven otherwise.

Just like Spasso it's always been mixed. And I would dare to say that Soi 11 has always attracted more non-mongers than mongers including couples here on vacation. The vast majority of younger European and North American men in Thailand, and by younger I mean under 40 are not mongering.

I would agree that real fear would be assuming that a lady is part of the P4 P crowd only to discover otherwise. High level of embarrassment to say the least, but depending on the signals given, it might be a reasonable assumption. I'm not a big "BMD" type, but usually wait for a bit of conversation before offering to buy a drink. And when in venues that have a mix of both types exercise a bit of caution when approaching a lady. It is usually obvious if your attentions are desired or not. At least in my experience. I would agree that Oskar, Above 11, etc. Do not put out "eye candy" to attract patrons, but in fairness, Level does have some professional dancers that are easy on the eyes. Can't help but wonder if some of the civy ladies while acting "insulted" aren't just a little bit happy that someone finds them attractive enough to make an offer, unless of course it is something silly. One never knows.

Met a real cute lady last night walking on Soi 11, she was moving with purpose and happened to look up and caught me appreciating her nice dress and heels. She smiled and said "Hello, We stepped out of the way to chat a bit. Immediately determined she was not Thai, she said Laotian, but I just smiled and asked "Vietnamese" in her native tongue and she said yes. I should have kept moving after that, but after a bit of back and forth agreed to a price with the promise of " I take good care of you, you will see". Nice, attractive, well groomed and personable. During the taxi ride, we found we had visited the same clubs in Shanghai and Singapore, and she was asking me about Hong Kong. We get to the room and the second thing she says is "give me the money first", again I should have known to show her the door, but I said "NO" and if that is not acceptable you can leave. She said what you expect, "you don't trust me, and I said the same back to her. I just said I understand and you can leave with $100 baht for taxi back to Soi 11. Opened the hotel room door and held it for her. She said, "I don't want this, I want to stay. " I finally compromised and put the money on the table with the agreement she not touch until she left. Big mistake on my part was not having exact change. She said no problem, she would give me change. You can guess what happened. After what can only be considered perfunctory service she was ready to believe and WOW, did not have enough change. Not sure what it is with me and Viet gals, but only rarely have I been pleased after the fact with a Viet lady. On those occasions when I was pleased it was "off the hook" fun times though. Only a couple of days remaining, so I promised myself not to stray from the local gals. Another expensive lesson learned. She said there are more than a few Viet ladies in BK these days, and I guess Phuket.

I just saw your post and I have never had a good experience with a FL from Vietnam in Bangkok and several ones similar to yours. They all seem to want the money up front and then they are lousy in the sack, if you do or don't pay in advance, doesn't matter! I can't speak Vietnamese but I have gotten pretty good in identifying Viets from the get go. For one, they do not look like Thai girls in general and not at all like Laotians who tend to have much whiter skin. Also, they seem to hang out in Hilary on Soi 4 or in that general area. My recommendation is to avoid them at all costs.
