When you arrive in front of Hong Kong, give him 50 pesos or $3 (56 pesos), and any tip you want.

There are lots of people walking past the border at all times day or night, and there are lots of policias along the way. , that you should not have any problems with crimes. The 5 main bars are all within 300 feet in that block: Hong Kong, Las Chevelas, Adelita, Tropical, Valentina. You can have very good times with the pretty chicas on your own without needing anyone holding your hands.
