Thanks, ABG and others who replied to my question. I thought it was an interesting question in light of the many comments about those establishments in particular, but I certainly appreciate your varying sentiments on this topic. As I have mentioned before, I always loved Redway because of the relaxed atmosphere. It was a nice place to hang out even if you were not on the hunt. So I hope to visit Tangara, Brooklin, Mirunas maybe on a Sunday as suggested, and then some other random establishments. I also like to check out a boite or two (I speak fluent Spanish and enough Portuguese to have a lot of fun), and I liked Casarao the last time I was in town.

Another question: Is there a directory or map of the prives and clinicas in S. P. ?? I remember a map or list of most of the establishments from a few years ago, but it's not online from what I can tell. Anybody know of anything like this? (feel free to PM me).

Some of hight end clinicas, like Miruna and Brooklin appear on the Google Map.

I'm always surprised to see you promoting prives or clinicas in Moema. But it seems that for a couple of months now you are extolling the virtues of venues in this bairro.

It makes me smile because for years (when I was still posting on a regular basis on this board) I was the only voice promoting the quality of life (I. E. , night life, bars, restaurants, hotels, flats, possibility to meet pro and non-pros in public places, etc.) and you were (privately and sometimes on this board) always trying to convince me that Moema was a too expensive bairro and too far from Centro So Paulo.

I agree with you that during rush hours it is a nightmare to get out of Moema and to get in Moema. But during daytime the are plenty of ways to travel in Moema. The expected opening of the Linha-Lilas is still 2015. I live and work in Moema for the last year. Incidentally just between Clinica Miruna and Red Massagem (Avenida Moema) - and I'm still thrilled by the quality of life in that bairro. Everything is available here: raunchy prives that are open 24 h. The infamous Eucaliptos near Ibirapuera shopping - [I agree with you that it is a hit and miss venue but now and then I can still find gems there! A genuine hobbyist must like to garimpar (find true gems)],Clinicas (Red Massagem is still for me the best place for duplas. Whatever you will say), swing clubs (why GF is very found of them!) and a lot of free-lancers eager to please you in their nice love nests (most of them live on the Passaros side of Moema I. E. Located between Ibirapuera and Santo Amaro.

How come did you change your mind about Moema?
