She asked why I didn't pay her something for her time at dinner, and I told her that if she had told me she wanted 10 K upfront she wouldn't have come to dinner and I explained my policy and she agreed before we met. The third lady told me she usually asked for 4 K, but "Liked" me and wanted to spend the evening together, so 3 would be fine. It turned to be a very fun time together, dinner, rooftop drinks, and very pleasant session in my room, followed by a BJ the next morning and breakfast. She was gone by 10:00 am. Though sorry you had to expend so much labor on dinners. For myself, with so many hot girls in BKK, I can't justify anything near 20 k. It's a very hands-on place (think Pandora's in Pattaya before the new owner took it over) which is my main criterion. I'd much rather spend an afternoon with an older but hands-on MILF than a 23-year-old hottie in a Pattaya G-club who doesn't let me hold her hand until after I've bought her 10 drinks.

Anyway, the girls' clothing started coming off and sometime during my second drink they began undressing me. They're really good about stripping everybody down there, so if you're the least bit shy it's not the place for you (Mama locks the door before all this occurs, of course). I won't bore you with the details (smirk) but suffice it to say that it can get pretty wild in there. You'll have a lot of female body parts shoved in your face, and you can have as many providers as you want service you. My advice is to buy a few of them drinks, get all of those ones naked, but then pick only one (or two if you like) for the BJ. That will help keep the overall cost down since this way you only pay the BJ fee for the one (s) who actually service you. The others get their money through the drinks and a small tip you provide at the end. Be polite, but firm and you'll be fine in this regard. You'll still have a lot of fun but the check won't be outrageous. If they sense you're a newbie, though, you'll get tourist treatment / prices.

Star of Light (Patpong 2). Beneath Meet the World Bar is the infamous Star of Light. Like a beacon in the night, its white sign beckons to all who approach. It's just a small place with a few couches, a small bar, and a tiny restroom (no shower). There's also a mattress at the back, if you prefer. There was only one provider the first time I went, but more on duty when I swung by again last week. Overall, it's a nice enough place and there's no pressure / girl pile-on like there is at Meet the World, where you find yourself surrounded by sexy women and then before you know it your wallet is empty! I found both providers to be decent in the looks and personalities departments and who provided good enough service.

TLDR: Patpong area is extremely quiet, but a few of its most infamous BJ bars, besides Kangaroo Club, which is closed, are still around; Rose Bar: open but recommend you take a pass; Meet the World: the most / best girls and a nice raunchy hands-on time but hang on to your wallet; Star of Light: a good laid-back fun time.

There MIGHT be a chair or stool on the sidewalk to the side of the door. That's where the [I]doorman[/I] sits who rings the bell to alert the bar that someone is coming up. It's hard to miss with the sign; 1/2 the time, I too miss it so the sign MIGHT be gone, only in my memory. This is an [B]ANCIENT[/B] photo.

Meet the World: MY experience, any of the ladies sitting outside the bar work there, at least in the afternoons. Usually 4, my experience, but I don't remember a Linda from my visits (though they could have given me their Thai names, or she comes later). Again, MY experience, EVERY lady sitting outside has followed me inside, but that just might be my [I]magnetic[/I] presence. As I've posted, beer should be 100, BJ 800, lady drink 150.

SOL: On Patpong 2. If you exit Foodland, turn right, walking away from Silom. At the FIRST access to the covered passage on your right, look; SOL is there (there's a beer bar on the right of the access with a stairway going up to the 2nd level on your left). Just a door (ground floor bar), with some horizontal windows (blocked out) to the left of the door higher up on the wall. It's just where the roof of the covered passage inside of Patpong 2 starts. Both times I've been by in the afternoon, there's been a couple of sheets of plywood over the door. Another old photo attached.

Another old photo attached.[/QUOTE]An easy way to find Rose Bar is to walk along Patpong 2, away from Silom, until you get to the first "cutover" cross-soi to Patpong 1. Take a left and walk straight. When you reach Patpong 1, cross to the far side and turn right (so, you're on the left side of Patpong 1, walking away from Silom). Walk a few meters down and you will see a large red cooler / fridge outside. Just past that is a red door with a Rose Bar decal on it. There's a bell you can ring or a guy sitting on the curb outside will run over and ring it for you. Then you can head up the (very steep) staircase.

For Meet the World, best way to find it is to walk up Patpong 2 towards Silom. At the first staircase to the upper level, on your left, walk up the stairs and then take a right. Walk a few feet and Meet the World Bar will be on your left. If they're not busy, there are usually girls on the right hanging out on the veranda. Generally, all those ladies hanging around outside the bar work in the bar. Particularly in the afternoons, there really are no other bars open on that level. Usually, they all follow you in.

If the bar appears closed / locked, fear not. It just means there's a fellow monger being serviced inside. You may either ring the bell or choose to come back later.

If you decide to return later, a good place to go and grab a drink while you wait is Shenanigans. Walk down the stairs and turn right onto Patpong 2 (away from Silom). When you arrive at Thanon Surawong (main road), take a left and Shenanigan's Irish Pub will be on your left (between Patpong 2 and Patpong 1). Generally nice staff / people / atmosphere and you can just hang out inside or on the patio. It gets fairly busy in the late afternoons / early evenings with the post-office crowd. There's also a Starbuck's across the street.

For Star of Light, beneath Meet the World and closer to Silom on Patpong 2, I texted the owner to ask her what's up. Apparently, there is some renovation work going on ("fix shower and change bed and color". According to the owner, the work is happening after the bar closes at night, so she claims it's still open now. You may wish to try it at different times, though, or check back in a week or so when it will likely be complete.

Not too difficult to find anything in Patpong any longer because almost everything is closed on the main street. Here are 2 photos of how dead Patpong 1 was at 10:50 pm on October 23.. Standing at one of the only open bars, KC, looking both ways.

In preparation for my upcoming trip to Bangkok, I thought that I might also check out Fiwfans and Sideline to broaden my range of choices that would include the soapies, parlors, BJ bars and gogo bars. While Google did a stellar job of translating and I could interpret at least the gist of what was listed, there were some phrases and / or terminology that puzzled me.

When the profile states 'Don't want cash', does it mean that the lady would prefer bank transfers?

Does 'can play poses' mean multiple positions or can we take pictures?

I have NO idea what 'can remove the cleavage' means.

I will assume that 'broken face' would mean CIF and 'split mouth' would mean CIM rather than an invitation for abuse.

No idea what 'disintegration' means at all.

Any assistance in possible meanings would definitely be appreciated.
