A few tidbits about the bars from my trip a couple of weeks ago.

Soi Cowboy:

Crazy House: Lots of naked girls. A lot fewer girls post lockdown and looks like the average age went up to late 20's to 30's, unlike prior years where this place seemed to specialise in early 20's girls. Still crowded AF though with customers. It's like 5 or 6 customers per girl in there. Still they're all buck naked and will grind on your lap for a while if you get them a drink. Prices are expensive. More than California. The good quality chronic is mainly imported. It seems to be around 800 baht per gram. Although I talked to one guy. He said his stuff came from an indoor operation in Thailand. His stuff was 700 baht per gram. Obviously, the prices will drop when the Thais learn how to mass produce good quality indoor weed. They will eventually learn how to grow good outdoor quality weed. You need to supplement light (during growth) and subtract light (during budding).

You also have cheap outdoor stuff (from SE Asia) available. Not good quality. Weed is not tight; not much crystals. Taste is poor. Price I think was about 100 baht per gram. That still seems expensive for cheap stuff grown locally.

It will take a while for the Thai government to crack down, IMO, if ever. Not sure why people would be scared of weed on the street. It's out in the open. If you are an expert, you can see the quality. Pesticide potential is the same as in store fronts. Also, there has to be pesticide even in the some of the weed you buy in California. Everyone will spray at the first signs of infestation if you have huge money involved. Don't even trust the legal stores with the government testing requirement in California. The grower has to supply the testing company once every one or two years; and of course you will give the company your best weed free of pesticide.
