It's usually when a piece of legislation is suggested that gets a certain group overly excited and onto the streets. The only thing I know to be aware of regarding elections is "ley seca" or dry law which means no sales or consumption of alcohol in public for probably about 36 hours. Bottom line I wouldn't worry about the timing of your trip as it relates to the upcoming presidential election.

Unless some gringo is decked out in gear to promote one of the candidates, nobody is going to cause any problems over their politics.

The Ley Seca runs from 6 pm Saturday until 6 am Monday for the Sunday election day. Another issue on election day is that the Metro is free, so it's usually a lot more crowded than the typical Sunday.

The best neighboorhood is boston imo, laureles is too slow, centro too dirty (IE nutibara), poblado sucks, etc.

Boston has all the casas, and the centro vibe while being safr and more family orieneted. And all the casas are in a 10 block radius.

I work in the am, then after some lunch at a local place menu del DIA for 15-20 k I hit a casa, either dulce, amigas sexy, zandaly, natalia, Cuba, or if I'm gambling zaza (yes I've been back after the horrible experiences.).

If I have the energy I go to centro and find a vennie (has to be vennie) around the museum. Always have a drink / some churro. / whatever to build rapport before room. I treat the sw like a civilian, flirting, etc.

Ever think from the girls pov? They spend all the time dealing with trash (centro rats haha!) and as theyre always working rarely get traditionally courted. So the flirting before the session goes a LONG way.

Same with casas, first visit is usually an 45 min to an hour htough I can't bust twice with a condom in an hour. Rest of time giving massage, talking, flirting, etc.
