I have tried In-Driver; but in my experience, they usually only accept fares equal to or higher than one of the other three. Cabify gives a price range. They usually stay within that range, but sometimes go over.

An app provides some sense of security because you have their name and license plate number.

Unless your flight arrives right after another flight, you should be out of immigration in less than 30 minutes after arrival. If you have pre-arranged transportation or use the white taxis, you should be in Poblado in less than an hour after you get out of the airport. The bus may take a little longer because of the wait before leaving the airport.

If you've pre-arranged with a FB lady, almost all are safe. There will be very few available at that time of night if you are searching. Strip clubs are safe, but attractive ladies are rare.

I just checked arrivals at MDE, and there are no international arrivals between 7 and 8pm. Flight from Miami (8:10pm), from Cancun (8:12pm) and from Mexico City (8:25pm). To speed things up, I always sit in the front of the plane as close to the exit as possible.

If your in the back of the plane, it may take as long as 30 minutes or more, but if your one of the first in line, it could be as short as five minutes.

Regardless, MDE as you mention is very efficient, way more than Bogota, which I try to avoid flying into.

Planning on staying at Hotel M for my trip to Medellin. A quick question for those who have been:

And my experience with taxi's has been good with the exception of around the Holiday's when there was an acute shortage of cabs, the drivers would ask where your going, especially around the Poblado Metro Station, and give these bullshit quotes at least double of what the meter would read.
