I find it difficult to take long trips to other countries without lugging a suitcase.

But apparently now it is, if you want to that is. But not much to say about it I guess, it sounds like you are taking care to protect yourself by having chicas checked at the desk, which is good. It may be pricier than other places, likely. Be a bit careful approaching chicas as the vast majority of the people there are with friends etc and are not sex workers. But the ones that are usually make it a bit obvious. Gals that are there with their boyfriends are not a great target. Remember one thing cheaper than the chicas in Colombia is hiring a hitman. Don't become a target.

I don't have good experiences with bringing two unknown chicas..[/QUOTE]Biggest downside of Parque Lleras for a guy like you is it gets old quick, after 2 weeks of hitting Parque Lleras up, you will notice mostly the same girls at every club. Your going to want to hit up different venues. Now if your flying in for a short vacation and have a decent budget, Parque Lleras is an incredible 4-5 day romp where you can get almost anything you want. Maybe no 9-10's, but plenty of willing 7-8's. I personally love Parque Lleras and have never messed with the FB scene at all, so I can't comment on that. Strip clubs of Medellin are fun too, though on my last trip, the girls seemed a little less attractive, however still an awesome time.

To get around having checked luggage, besides having a large carry on, I also bring a large supermarket bag filled with stuff that fits under the seat, hence I don't need to check luggage, at least to Colombia, but for further destinations / longer trips, such as to Asia, I end up checking a suitcase. Your such a zombie when you land after travelling so long that an extra hour doesn't even register. And for Asia, I bring a coffee maker and ground coffee and sugar. It can be very challenging at times to get good coffee in Asia, hence I bring everything to brew coffee which may sound odd to some, but I'm sure others here can relate to what I am saying.

Another thing I have experienced is that if you fly on COPA into Medellin, and this was when I used to check luggage, if your flying business class, is that they position your luggage in the cargo hold so that it comes off first, hence there is typically little to no wait.

MDE airport is super efficient for luggage, and for those sitting near the exit immigration can be a breeze if your the only plane clearing Customs.

On my flight here a month ago, I flew business class from LAX, and within 60 minutes of the plane landing, I was thru immigration and at my place. I can remember before the tunnel it would take a lot longer.

Regardless, Global Entry for re-entry into the USA is the way to go, especially at problematic airports like FLL, where it can take upwards of two hours to get thru immigration.

I arrive at the Mansion. At first, a bit underwhelmed. Like others have said on this form, the Mansion is a bit run down and the rooms are pretty bare bones. I felt the same experience like you are having at Hotel M. First of all it gave me gasping of my breath while waling uphill twice due mistaken address, despite I am in mid 40's (may be I need to cut down my smoking).

Secondly I went during the day time to check on and felt uncomfortable with the ambiance. Filthy pool, construction (few weeks back) dust, different levels of steps. The beds are really cheap not even mid firm which will sure give me back pain.

Short story, I cancelled my stay and ended up continuing my Sheraton and glad I took that decision.

No issues of getting chicas due to constant FB messages and the more they are after me, the less they are ready to accept. I even paid 100 k for one chic, rest of them pretty much 150 k and few of them taxi.

Regarding tussi, weed, most of the chics that I saw are having it. I was bit surprised to see one chic is normal when entering into the room and after 10 minutes (I asked her to take shower) in washroom she is high clouds. Would not take more than 1 at a time, risks go up exponentially, be straight up about things with them, whatever you are asking they have heard that and more. Yes scoping risk is prolly more there and on tinder. Hotel checking cedula, letting the chica know that the reception needs you to walk her in and out, and not letting your drink out of sight, and locking up your valuables are the 3 most useful tings you can do to reducing the risk.
