Yes it was Afterskool a few times, but even better / sleazier was Fannie's right next door. In fact way more than just a BJ was on offer there and I partook many times. The Thai banks money changing outlets do not offer the best money exchange rates. Especially at the airport arrival area the rates are really bad. The only exceptions I've noticed will be at some places in Vietnam, and the black market in Seoul (it should still be in Namdaemun). The new US hundred bills will get a better rate in those places.

I remember being turned away almost everywhere I went in Seoul, and it was rough in Japan as well if your non-Asian.

Hey guys, updating on Soi Cowboy, realized I forgot to do this from other trip reports.

Overall impression: Quality of the girls here was better than Nana on average, but highly concentrated to just a couple gogos which were packed with girls, while other gogos were sorta empty of patrons and ladies. During my trip this was much better than Nana for looks, I felt Nana had gotten the upper hand in recent years, but this shifted back.

Best Club: Baccara, upstairs only. Baccara has two floors, downstairs is just covered bikini dancers and regular crowded gogo, upstairs is where the fun is. Girls upstairs were topless, and it was one of the few gogos still around anywhere with topless as the default. Without question this was the best spot on Cowboy. Not pushy on drinks, and plenty of girls to choose from so you don't have to worry about people hoarding ladies. Very noticeable, there were more enhanced boobs girls here than other spots, noticeably more, in a good way. This club was so much better, I kept coming back here after quick dips elsewhere, others weren't so bad, but they just weren't at all as good, so felt like this was the place to be. It was crowded so obviously was not alone in the thinking -- also, say plenty of people getting just totally shitfaced there.

It was surprising how good quality Baccara upstairs was compared to the rest of Soi Cowboy and Nana, no question the standout gogo. Also, tits.

Other Clubs: Stopped in a bunch of others, mostly not interesting. Shark was next best. Tilac, Suzie Wong, Midnight (a few others I stuck my head in all were lame or clothed with small amounts of girls. Hey clubs, we want to see tits!. Didn't bother with Afterskool / toy bar BJ spots -- again I ended up just back at Baccara upstairs because it was that much better.

Bars: Country Roads was fun, outside bars and tables are the best there. This was surprisingly a good bar, better than in the past. Prompt service too and decent prices 100 B for beers / shots. Penny Black (directly across from Country Roads) was lame as can be. They were blasting really bad EDM on a poor sound system, just was worthless. I don't know who that bar appeals to.

Food: The days I went the food situation wasn't great, there used to be some good stalls and stands there, I remember there being a pad see ew spot in the past (I think) but only a couple carts now, one was like overpriced hot dogs and the other was a noodle soup (that was not good) -- they could do with some more street food. I don't get it, this spot should be packed with good food for the hoards of drunk guys with money to burn.
