Stace,
Diamond Regal is one of the upscale nightclubs in Metro Manila. It is actually is Pasay City along Roxas Blvd. I stated the barfine is P6500/P5500 (before/after midnight). If you are used to barfining or spending under P4000 total for overnight, then the places to go are the EDSA entertainment complex along EDSA Blvd, just a block away from the corner of Roxas Blvd & EDSA Blvd (where you can see the 5-star Heritage Hotel).
-
I was in the EDSA complex a couple of months ago and, in my opinion, its really gone downhill. The girls, regardless of the bar, were nothing much, the places were pretty aggressive, and to me it was more worthwhile to leave there and head to P. Burgos or the LA Cafe. I was staying at the Heritage so EDSA was the most convenient place, but it really was not worth the efort.

Sauna/ Massage parlors:
Star Trek and Air Force One in Sucat Road offers great all the way service. They are a block away form each other. Location is probably 15 minutes from the NAIA airport using sucat road going to the expressway.
Air Force one is 5 star, Star Trek half a notch below. Aquarium, shows girls from 6 to 8 rating on the regular rooms and 8 to 9 rating on the VIP sections.
During happy hours, room rates are $18. Girls for all the way service..including the great massage is an additional $18 given to the girl.
I really enjoy the Two Masseuse deal of $26 for the room and $36 for the girls, $18 each. They will give you a really good massage and you can have sex with both, but not at the same time. They do not want to share body fluids. Smart.

Stace & Ilongo_boy,
Do not pay those rediculous prices. Reminds me of the guy raving in the China section about the great night he had in Beijing for $ 350 US with a girl and going back the next day to tip the Mamason $ 50. A little more and he would have paid the monthly salary of an MD in a hospital there.
Enjoy Manila but then take a 1 hour flight to either Dumaguete City or Davao City (1 1/2 hrs). Cost me only $ 48 US for a last minute flight to Davao last week. Fucked my dick off and had a blast. Women are everywhere. Both cities are teeming with young co-eds age 18 - 30 plus plenty of pros.
I made Manila my headquarters for my first 4 years going to the Philippines. Then I switched to Cebu for the past 9 years. Now, I am moving it to Davao City where the traffic is light and life is slow and, most importantly, lovely women are in abundance. Dumaguete City is next on the list.

I will be coming to Manilla for the first time in May. I was considering either the Hyatt or Heritage. Is either one more guest friendly then the other - how about their proximity to the "action". I did read that heritage is close to Edsa but what about Hyatt? I read Edsa is going downhill - so what else is close by?
Thanks for your help here guys.

The twin service is the most I would use when visiting the Skyline Health Club.
Whenever I want to pamper myself. Its kinda hard to patronize both Air Force One and Skyline so I always alternate.

If this is your first time in Manila, I know that you will have a good time staying at Heritage and visiting EDSA across the street. For a beginner there is absolutely nothing wrong with the place.
The barfine is php 1000 and the girls expect 1500 for the night. Dont remember the cost of a lady-drink, sorry.
The Casino Bar is my favorite place. Herman is a bartender there, and he can tell you what girls are new to the place. He is not much behind the bar, but around talking to the customers. You may think he is gay, but he is married with family. Buy him and the floormanagers a beer or drink, tell them at regular cost, not as ladies-drink cost. If you become a repeater, they all threat you in a good way, ie no hustling. Not so many customers in any bars in EDSA nowadays, but plenty of girls. Most average, but some gems as well.
Whatever you do in Manila, you will have a good time. I just say that you shall avoid the Bourgos area, since the costs is skyhigh. After a few days, getting familiar with Manila, then you should visit LA Cafe and Malate area, and that is about 10-15 minutes drive from Heritage.
Have fun

thought i'd repay those who come after me. i snarfed up a bunch of useful info from this site before i headed over to the pi for the first time a few weeks back with ten days off and untreated yellow fever. i seriously love the filipina!
about me; late thirties, professional, fit and very discriminating female tastes. always a size 4 and smaller in the states and has to be a looker. i am not a professional monger by any means. just have the asian fetish! plus, i came prepared with lingerie (more xs thongs next time and no use in much over 34b....32b is the most sought after size), perfume, et al. the filipinas genuinely appreciated this and they were all great fun. also, i waaay over-pay/tip because they deserve it in my mind. just think of how much you drop in a strip club in atlanta/lasvegas/nyc in one night with nothing to show for it and so very few laughs?
fifteen hrs. flight not the most fun. airfare $1000 rt. midnight arrival to manila diamond ($90/night five star) in ermita near la cafe (on purpose). rough section, for sure. took taxi just a few blocks to la cafe. great scene. several hundred girls 18-35yo ranging from 5 to 9's who were there for the asking. fish in a barrel and great fun. i engaged two in talk and drink and dance. one (24 yo) finally broke down and cried saying she just gave birth six months ago and her boyfriend left her. she was a 8+. i tipped her and sent her packing at the bar and scooted off with the other, a solid 9 (21 yo). she probably told me her fee, but i am sure i gave her way more than she expected because she was awesome and i enjoyed the hell out of her. several hours of very nice activities and then she showered and left as the sun was coming up. i wouldn't have minded hanging with her for a few days. (note: the third go round with this lovely was some serious friction and the condom unknowingly shredded. it was the only unprotected contact i had in the pi and i got a nasty case of gonnorhea and chlamydia developed when i got home. could have been worse. warning to the wise!).
next day i slept off the flight. got a hotel massage. $10 and strictly therapeutic.
that night in a pre-arranged tour of manila clubs, i hit makati real early and since it was quiet we drove over to edsa. for those who do not know what it is, edsa complex is this large building on a major thoroughfare that is essentially a strip mall with a dozen or so clubs with dancers. you go in and if you see one you like. buy her a drink. simple enough. if the mood is right, barfine her and go have a blast.
there were less clients than dancers, by far, in each of the places we went. finally, settled in the pit stop. my friends ate. we all had several beers and i finally called a pair of girls down from the stage to drink. they had a few drinks as did a girl who's b-day it was and then i barfined the two hotties (it was their idea to take both!). my total bill was like $84 including the meals and double-bar fine! great fantasy night and both of these 19 yo were exceptional in looks and attitude. gave them both gifts (lingerie, perfume and $$$) in am. once again, i'd have hung out with them for days! er, maybe years!
went to angeles for three nights. see that report separately.
upon returning to manila, i stayed at the intercontinental in makati, the upscale section of town. great internet price ($75/night) if 21 day advance. next to giant mall. several massages in the spa at ih. strictly therapeutic, but nice.
checked out hard rock cafe on a weeknight. the pickings were few, but there were certainly girls looking to meet ex-pats. things may have improved had i stayed later. went to jool's in makati. over rated and the pressure on buying lady drinks was overwhelming and i never have a problem dropping coin. the irritating element was that soooo many girls (all good-looking and decently hot) were hounding me, you couldn't engage in banter with the one you are interested in. the dance show was ok, but it was more vegas than t&a. i wanted to leave with one of the gro, but i got so frustrated with the lady-drink oppression that i just left after dropping $140 in an hour and a half. dumb and not enjoyable.` i also went to night train on the same street. some really young looking freelancers walking on the sidewalk but that isn't my scene at all. taxi over to la cafe late, but the place was still hopping. same scene as before, but i was restless. taxi to edsa...very late. had a blast at firehouse with chicks in the little crowd (freelancers?) and barfine this incredible mestiza chica. she was a wow...
spent the remaining three days with this spectacular 4'10" pocket julia roberts lookalike. 20 yo and just precious. use your imagination.
philippines are a freakin blast. i'm heading back over late april/early may. it's good to be king! luv the filipina!

Golazo:
Glad you enjoyed your first trip to Manila so thoroughly. If you plan to come for a longer period next time, you should try spending some time in Davao and Cebu. The night spotes are 're less upscale, or at least less intense than the Manila/Makati clubs, but every bit as enjoyable and much, much cheaper.
If you get here in late April, consider coming to Davao and partying with Dragon Slayer and me.

Golazo,
Thanks for contributing to raising the market value in Manila. You're right, one pays far more at the strip joints in the US and get nothing to show for it. But guess what? Your over-tipping will encourage the bars and clubs in Manila to move in that direction too. Use your head you buffoon. How easily you forget that everything there is way cheaper so giving a FL at LA Cafe $50 is like giving an FL in the US $300 or more! This message board is very informative but you selectively forget the posts about keeping the market low and tipping the FLs 1500 MAX. I'll be there in 3 weeks and I hope I run into that girl you had at LA Cafe so she can quote me P3000+ thanks to you.

Davao is in Mindinao. Many Filipinos warned me about traveling South. Davao sounds cool and I am sure it is a great place to meet locals, tempting, but is it worth the risks?
Thanks for the offer.

Golazo,
What risks in going to Davao? Rookie, what the fuck are you talking about here? I think this is all too much for you. Leave the real action to US serious Asian Travellers.
You overpaid for everything from the Airfare, Hotel (yes, a shitty area and all), and the Women. Most of all, the women. Paid more in one night than I do for an entire week of serious fun. I am not on a tight budget when in Asia but why waste money needlessly.
Now to those risks in Davao. I have made a dozen separate trips there over the last six years. Two in the past nine months, including the one this month. It is certainly a hell of a lot safer than Manila, which I made my Philippine headquarters for four years from 1991 - 1995. The locals who advised you were either taxi cab drivers or other con artists who wanted to keep a "smart guy" like you in Manila so they could finish bleeding you dry of all your funds.
Had another rookie on his "virgin trip" spend all his time in Angeles City, nicknamed prostitute city by many of us. He asked me if all the women in the Philippines were *****s. Says a lot for the Mother of my Daughter, a former beauty contest winner and employed as a computer operator at the Mayor's Office in Leyte.
I sincerely wish all you rookies would get several years serious (I mean serious) experience before you come off with these outrageous comments. A little knowledge IS a dangerous thing.

There is probably less of a risk of encountering serious trouble in Davao than in Manila. The places to which you're referring, such as Basilan, Tawi-Tawi and others, are far away from here. Davao is a pretty laid back and peaceful place. If you do come here though, I trust you will stick to the local pay scales.
