I'll be leaving soon, but still have no clear idea on where to stay or what part of the city is best for me. Also guys, is there much of a chance of being hassled by police if I take a girl back to my hotel (assuming it is GF) for either ST or LT?
In reading reports, it seems that the best thing to do on checking into a hotel is to register for two people and not one (lol if traveling alone). There is less chance of a hassle? Is that right?

No I don't think the Omni is girl friendly. The hotel I stay at is Thanh Long on Pham Thai in Dist. 1. It cost about 15 usd per night and the rooms are very clean. they will even call in girls for you at night.

Anyone been around the new resort area near the Furama South of Danang? I will be in that area in a month for about 5 weeks. I have heard nothing about it from the monger point of view.
Here's a quick report.
U2 is a sure thing. The girls are all in there in skirts with no skivvies underneath. Before you bar fine a girl, you know exactly what you are getting.
Had a nice GFE session with Ahn. She took us to a local hotel. $30 for the room. $2 for 2 condoms.
Showered, massage, Ahn on top first session, doggie second. 2 hours later, I took her back to the bar for a drink, went back to my hotel (Renaissance in walking distance to U2 and ATMs) and slept it off.

Heres my experience of mid August this year. I hooked up with one curvy SW between the US & British Consulates. Walked a good 300 yards to the Sofitel Plaza with her and she was munching on some fruit and spitting out the seeds all over the street (managed to stick that fruit in my pocket eventually). Got stopped by the Security in the Hotel, it was a couple of minutes past the H Hour; the Chief waved me through with a plea to be done quickly.
In the elevator she indicates to me that she likes the Hotel. We walk into my Suite and she asks me if I have condoms. The SWs do not carry condoms in HCM! Get this, she calls the Operator and aks for Room Service, guess she asks for condoms cause they do not show up. Five minutes later I kick her out. She is afraid she'll be busted as she leaves the Hotel - the hell with her, I have a case of blue balls!

Beer om is not the trend any more, I don't know what other guys think but there are so many rip off establishments that many have shy away. The ones that go there are usually old and rich local officials or business man who have reputations and money to burn. Stay away from them unless someone introduced you to a legitimate one and there are few.
I prefer to get a number from friends or maybe for you. a member in the forum can pm you. Or go to a legitimate bar to pick up a girl. I also like to go to the "barber shops" on Dien Bien Phu to get a bj and if you like the girl you can met her after work or something. Be careful and have fun
