Infact, Cyclone and York have been airlifted to Riyadh according to the latest updates ...Eric
Damn you to hell, Eric; we were trying to keep that secret. As I mentioned to my fav cylcone a-lister last week: only way I'd ever be able to afford her is if I was the only customer there.

I think everyone has been eating too many leftover Danish dairy products. Cheese flu anyone?
It is true about the Cyclone and York being relocated, shame none of the girls could get a magic kingdom visa! Camel toe has another, literal meaning in KSA! ;)

Palm beach rotana
Nothing on the forum, but an INET search found this review...
We got offered this place because of late changes to flight schedules and unavailability elsewhere. Oh boy!!! If you want a choice of four discos / nightclubs roaring on to 4am this could be the place for you. The clientele even throw in a horn concerto at 4:10 am to ensure that you know that they're leaving! DON'T ACCEPT A FRONT ROOM IF YOU WANT A NIGHT'S SLEEP. The main breakfast room is in a room called the Cafe something or other and they've got that bit right - I ate in better greasy spoons when I was "on the thumb" in my younger days! It was authentic leatherette high back seats round the outside and traditional transport caff chairs and tables. To top all of that there's no real alternative eating places for a couple nearby. The area is very popular with migrant workers and there's rarely a lady to be seen, all of which makes for an uncomfortable evening for females. I did read beforehand that the hotel has a pool - it doesn't. It claims it has a minibar in rooms - er like one large bottle of water. Friendly advice - avoid this place.
My suggestion, send an email asking if guests are allowed.

Thanks

davidson:
but dont know suddenly what hapened all the hotels in dubai are fully booked. (all 3 and 4 stars)
first it was golf, then kiddie doctors, next will be the international danish freedom of speech forum... there is always something going on in dxb, always an excuse to jack the room rates. try the third week of ramadan for plenty of available rooms. ;)
there are always rooms available, but at what price?

Found elsewhere
This was posted elsewhere, but thought it was relevant here, both for the info on the specific hotel, and for the response to hotels in general (as long as you are prepared for any consequences... such as an an anonymous tip to the police about "immoral activities" being engaged in...)
Greetings Mongerers!!
Please take my advice and avoid the Waterfront Appartments on 16th st off Bank Street in Bur Dubai if you require a night venue to enjoy the company of your latest p4p friend...
I made the mistake of checking in there earlier this month for a spot of the above after having made all the usual enquiries as to the reaction of the hotel to accompanying guests etc...
Clever Night Receptionist allowed said guest upstairs only to call me down to the lobby 5 mins later to ask for an additional Dhs 100 - on the basis of hotel policy etc...
My reaction: "Sure, no problem - can you give a receipt?"....."Thought not" and buggered off back to the room and put the phone off the hook!!
Got some dirty looks when checking out the next morning on my way to the airport but but bollox to them!!
Cheers,
Tubs

Nothing new here,
Just confirming the GF status of Sheraton Dubai Creek. One girl came up by herself after 'informing' the reception desk that she was visiting me. No phone call no copy of passport!
She could have just walked in with some confidence and no one would have noticed as the place is fairly busy at 11-midnight.
The other one insisted I come downstairs to escort her up. I did. Again, as she was dressed nicely, she could have just walked up without a problem.
It may be different if she comes in at 2 AM with her crotch hanging out;)

Millenium Airport
Hi,
Any updates on whether Millenium Airport hotel is still GF?
Thanks!
-
Crowne Plaza
Hotel is GF, no questions asked.
If the girl is coming to you, best meet in the lobby to avoid any problems.
Interestngly, the hotels internet allowed access to this and all other morally reprehensible sites:)

Bizzie - this is the third time this week I've heard from fellow members that Crown Plaza's internet doesn't block naughty sites. I can only guess that someone has installed a proxy.
I visited Crown Plaza a few months ago (one of the times when Mr D and I played with his lovely girlfriend) in the penthouse apartment - very nice.
Mr. D - you said you'd report with pics after December. C'mon. ;)

C Plaza
cp connects to internet using high speed link through media city not etisalat. all the properties in the springs, meadows etc ie the ones you can buy as a foreigner connect through media city and therefore are unrestricted. as usual the uae is a country of contradictions. at least here in bur dubai internet difficullties are compensated by real pussy a short walk away!

Chelsea Hotel
Quite interesting, new venue, sports bar - named Players...- was busy tonight with Sweeden Finland ice hockey. Didn't know there were so many scandihooligans in Dubai. A few working girls with boyfriends. double room 600 per night but don't know if guest friendly.
Moved to Jocks for early evening scene. lots of regulars augmented by interest in football this evening.
Discretion made me depart Jocks early as my friend was interested in an old 'friend' Margarita. He needed to be on his own ........he has a flight at 0300hrs.
Probably off to Regal once head clears.
