I agree with many things being said about the DR however I am going back for an extended amount of time just to make sure.
I will not be going to sosua instead I will force myself to venture out into the country a little more and see where that takes me. Im 36 from new york and can speak enough spanish and I know alot about spanish music...somewhere along the line I should get laid.
Also I feel sosua or DR just might not be the right place for some people . I dont think it's a very forgiving place if you make a mistake or dont have your act together. I usually stay in cabarete and do just fine. Nobody really thinks of cabarete as a location to monger but from what I saw of sosua Im glad I stayed there versus sosua. Sosua has the worst group of tourists Ive ever seen...sorry to offend anyone.

New yorkers ruin everything its true Im from new york born and raised. The reason guys are willing to pay $100 is because you cant even get into a club and have one drink for under $50 when you add entrance fee coat check and one $7 beer..$50 only gets you in the door more or less so for $100 you actually get something for it. Its all messed up you can thank americas mayor (rudy G ) and the people who moved here from elsewhere since they feel safe to do so and are willing to pay for it.
I like the people in the DR I really dig the "el caribe" vibe and the beautiful sights. I will give the DR one more try then I really need to pick someplace in South America that Ive been and build a nest. These places change like the weather so you never know what to expect just enjoy it while its good.

***last note - to the guy who got his money stolen from his pants always get ready to monger before doing so not while in the process..hide all your crap etc. this might not have helped you but it's worth mentioning you can get side tracked very easy.

For guys who's looking for a change needs to venture to other towns and find the spots where local dominicans find their *****s, the prices will be cheaper and quality would be better than Sosua, learn spanish in between trips and befriend a local taxi driver in a town other than Sosua or Boca Chica. If you have Dominican friends in your hometown, i.e. NYC or NJ, they will be your best source for info or could set you up with a local in the many towns and small cities surrounding Sosua, so you won't have to travel far. I think you pretty much touched on everything that is Sosua. It has been one year this month since my first trip to Sosua. I have been many times since and will return in February. I have seen many of the chicas in your pics and fucked only Yuni. She not really my type, but Classico was closing and I had to fuck someone that night. Tania hates me because I will not fuck her. I could tell from the time I meet her that she was hard core.

As far as not having a good time with chicas, YMMV (your milage may vary). In my exprience in the DR I have had mostly GFEs. I was suprised at the ratio of Chicas that didn't DFK. One of the things that I do differently than some of my friends is, I get dress up to go out and pic up a chica. There are still too many mongers (NYC and others) that go to the disco wearing the same clothes that they could wear to the beach or back on the block. I like to wear a nice linen shirts and pants never shorts on a night out. The women always compliment me, especially the ones that saw me earlier that day, in my shorts and T-shirt. I shower and use a nice body spray. This is important because I like to drink all day when in the DR. Before I go to the DR I stock up on my favorite gum so I don't have to look for it in Sosua. Some say why go through all that trouble when the chica will fuck you anyway. I do it because I know that these chicas know what a clean man looks like too. They have dreams of being with a decent, clean and sexy Gringo who will pay them for their time. I know if I can maker her want to fuck then my exprience will be better than if she is obligated to fuck. Sure, she will fuck the slobs also but being a slob is what contributes to some peoples poor expriences. These chicas are not mindless. If you want a good chance at a GFE then try being BF material. LOSO69 I'm not saying that this was your problem. I just mention it because I know it to be the problem of many mongers. Also Mongers should respect the culture. When in DR do as the Dominicans do (well not always but you understand). Your Tiki Barber jersey is not going to impress Chicas in the DR. So while your keeping it real and impressing all the dicks in the room, don't be surprised when your chica wants to leave early or she dosen't want to kiss you. This may not happen in Asian countries or in Brazil. I don't know. I've never been there. But the key to having fun in the DR is know how to navagate it well.

Now, I'm not crazy. When I was in Germany and Amsterdam and other monger locations around the globe. I made sure that I was always clean but I didn't get dressed up to go to a ***** house. The chicas in the DR (especially in Classico) play a strange game of "I'm not a puta". It took me a while to understand this game. When getting a Chica from a disco she wants to act like (from the moment you agree to take her for the night) the two of you are on a date. This is different from going to a ***** house, selecting a chica, fucking her brains out for 40 minutes and then leaving. Once you agree to be with a chica it is your choice of what you will do with her next. Do you go straight to the hotel? Do you Dance with her? Are you Playful? Remember most of them are young even if you are an old geezer. Do you hold her close (see, you should've used that body spray and gum like I told you)? Or do you just go to the hotel take a few pics and fuck her brains out. I'm sure she has had anyone do that to her in months. Not! Think about it your fantasy is not her fantasy but meeting her half way will increase your odds of getting what you want.

This summer will make it 5 years since I have been going to DR and I will say I had my best times in the non-mongering areas of DR, and if you want to see more of DR get out of the tourist areas and learn some spanish and go to the off beaten path. I will say this like some have mentioned before on here the best thing about DR is how close it is to the US if you want to get away on a quick weekend to monger than DR is the place to go, but if I have a week to spare I will be in BRASIL where the quality and the service of the GDP'S are far more better than the serices of a DR puta. I have spent up to 2 months in DR and I had a great time but I was not in the toursit areas. I could deal with Sosua no more than 5 days thats it than I get bored and tired of the place, you will never catch me staying in a place any where related to that strip.

After spending nine winters in the DR, I have retired. This year I left four weeks early, and had a great time in three other countries. It has now become a twice a year weekend retreat for me. The constent problems with power,water, etc, etc... finally just drove me out. And if I wanted to fuck a haitian, I would go to Puerto Prince. Quite honestly you would find me selling little u.s. flags in the town square in Iraq, long before I would visit Haiti! I will not begin to fire away negative comments, I will just try to remember the good times and move on....................

Well, I wouldn't take any of the crystals girls for breakfast or lunch. It is more to take a girl out from Crystals for an all nighter. I heard some people having a good time in the club without taking the girls out. Strip shows and girls rubbing them. I heard that some of the girls in Crystals are trouble too (stealing and leaving early). I'm not sure. I'm a new monger to Sosua. It seems that from these reports, that there were more white or hispanic looking women before in Sosua. What happened to these women? When I went, Classico was probably 97% filled with black women (probably mostly Haitian). They didn't just dissapear did they?

I also heard some bad things about this club called "Velvet Rope" I never went in this place. I heard that a gorgeous looking girl offers to massage you, but when you get in the room, its a fat woman massaging you :(

I never encountered water problems or electricity problems. The hotel I stayed in had a generator, but the power did go off. I know this because the tv went off and the alarm clock had to be reset :(

Do these girls associate Europa with Newbies? If someone had stayed in Residential or some other hotel would they be better off? The security there probably wouldn't be that great. Europa has a armed security guard and security cameras. I'm not sure if other hotels would help you if you had problems with chicas there (police).

Would I run into these problems in Brazil? I have a week off, but haven't research Brazil too much. I don't speak portugese. The plane fare to Brazil is also about 1000 bucks.

I find here as well as other stomping grounds I go to that if you treat them like a lady they start acting like one. I never took the girl straight home after I made a deal with her. Sometimes, money wasn’t even mentioned. I just danced with the girl until the disco closed, then took her home. I sometimes had a better time in the disco than in my room. The chicas are fun in the disco, but only have money on their mind once they get to your hotel.

So far, I’ve visited 3 Spanish-speaking countries (Colombia, Cuba & the DR) and found the chicas way too business-like. Spanish-speaking putas are cold-hearted snakes!

I am not sure, for I had an experience once where I was going to be shaken down by a haitian puta named Sara in Sosua in 2004, she pissed me off one night so I bundled up her clothes and left them at the desk and told the woman at night that she is not to bother me anymore. Bottom line she was banging at my door and threatening to kill me etc... I came out to confront her, she came at me with a shank, for which i knocked out her hand, soon then the police came, the fucking asshole chulo from the Flamingo got involved and wanted to embezzle his take from me. At that time and older guy from Europe that lived down there arrived on the scene and talked to the cops on my behalf, bottom line $20 to the cops, and the night ended.

Well after about four hours later she was back again screaming at the door, this time I went to the front desk and made the clerk call the Euro that owned the place, I did get him to move me to an upper floor, when I was moving upstairs, I discovered three more pairs of chicas pants, and three blouses, for which later I gave to the bartenders at the roses bar, in return one of them came up and gave me A BBBJ and rimjob, that ranks in my alltime top # 5, torrid. I then confronted the owner of the Flamingo about what happened. The next day, Sara the puta was told by the owner not to return- she was fired, and the chulo was also fired.

In hindsight, yes the Europa is newbie ground zero, be warned and be aware. Because I'm wise enough to know that even though I know they are missing out on all the flavors of the DR, I know that they are having a blast in a way that only they can appreciate. I just used it to illustrate the problem of many other mongers. I'm always wondering why it is that I see so many people complaining about the DR, when I'm have such a great time there. Sure everyone has a bad expierence or two. But it just makes me wonder what people are looking for. Again I've never been to asia or Brazil and probably will not have the chance to go. But I have been Curacao and ST Maarten and many places in Europe. So I have had many Phillipinos, Thia, Korean, Indoneasian, Columbian etc.... and for me, going in to the ***** house jumping up and down on a chica who just wipe herself off from the monger before me, and then having her put me out so fast that, I have an imprint of the door knob on my ass, is not appealing to me. I don't care how beautiful the chica is. If that is all I have to resort to then sure I'd do it again. But I don't have to because there is the DR. Don't get me wrong, I'm smart enough to know that the chica I just pull from classico may have been with someone else earlier that day. But at less the choca has had some time to air out.

So I'm wondering what I am I missing in these other monger location that makes people complain about the DR so much. Because if these other monger destination have nicer, prettier ladies that are on the revolving door system, Then I'll have to say "No thanks! My ass still hurts from the last door knob."
