I am planning to go to Bogota next week.

Can someone update me with current price for short time i.e. 1-2 hours and all night.

I was in the Santa Fe barrio of Bogota Friday. Girls (7´s and 8´s) were asking for $60,000 colon (less than $30) for 30 minutes.

Hope that is Colombian pesos. At the current rate 60K is about US$24.

Based on my experience in the streets of Medellin, I'm guessing that the price will range from 15K on up.

Assuming these were streetwalkers, I hope you laughed and kept walking. In Colombia, the national currency is the Colombian peso. Either a joke or a silly attempt at gringo pricing.

Streetwalkers, hotel entrance girl down there, maybe COP10.000-20.000, even though I wouldn't touch any of them, even if she looked like a bonafide 10. If they can't work in one of the many places down there, there's a problem somewhere (age, disease, attitude, dishonesty, something). Be warned.

I guessing those were La Piscina or El Castillo prices.

Your average foreigner should probably not be wandering around the rest of Barrio Sante Fe, it's pretty seedy.

These girls were pretty hot and many of the guys in the club were wearing suits. I will post photos later (in Brazil.) I would not come if you cannot speak Spanish; however, if you can (and well) it is a gold mine!!

The girls are hit or miss depending on the day you visit. I would advise you head over to Atunes or La Casona. They have the best bang for your buck as far as the girls are concern IMHO.

Just got into Bogota today and love it already. Much better scene than Cartagena. I visited "supermasajes" as I saw on a list of massage parlors. Cra. 11 No. 79-35. No markings on the entrance other than the address.

6 girls work there. 25,000 COP gets you a massage with a happy ending. 20,000 extra for BJ and 20,000 extra to touch the woman. I went with the basic 25k price and wasn´t disappointed. Their flyer says that 14 women work there, but staff told me only 6 did. Hours are noon to 8pm. Based on a sign encouraging the use of condoms, I expect they´re required for BJ. Doesn´t bother me. I prefer it that way.

I headed to La Piscina towards dusk and didn´t feel that it was a threatening environment. I would gladly return to sample the goods.

While on Av. Caracas I came across a series of touts passing out flyers for clubs. There are 3 on a single block: Av Caracas 66-09 (flyer says 5 servicios x 20.000. 18 - 23 años), Anonimas Bar -- Av Caracas 66-80 (flyer says 5 servicios x 15.000. orgipiñatas shows lesbian trios y mucho mas), Av Caracas 66-67 (lindas universitarias).

After seeing some museums yesterday I took a short walk (20 or 30 minutes) down Calle 22 to Conrrado Red Light District.

I went into Atones at around 5pm and saw maybe 7 women there. Had a few drinks and chatted with Angela from Cali. We couldn´t hear each other over the music and were forced to write our conversation out on paper. We agreed to a 20 min session for 50,000 pesos (45 for her, 5 for the room). I said 20 mins wasnt enough and she said 10 extra minutes would be no problem as a gift.

Turned out to be a crappy experience. She wasted some time trying to talk. We barely got to the sex when there was a knock on teh door. There was no way that was 20 minutes. She told me the time was up and i had only 5 mins more. Needless to say I was pissed that she lied.

Took off as soon as possible. And they kept trying to stall me by not giving me change for my drinks. I was pissed at the way the staff was trying to milk me for money. I´d think twice before going back. On the plus side, I noticed more was happening on my way out. More girls were there and a strip show was in progress.

I had a great time afterwards at Piscina and had a good session with Lola for 50,000. Lots of women, but not many shows going on.

Copa airlines changed around my return flight from Cartagena in August and now they are flying me to Bogota and giving me a hotel for the night then flying out the next day to Panama. I don't know which hotel I will be at yet, but I will be there from about 9 pm to about 10 am the next day. What kind of mongering options do i have?

In all of Colombia I have only studied Cartagena, Cali and Medellin. So I didn't know if there was one major spot in Bogota. A ground zero for mongering so to speak. But once I know where I'm staying I can figure out where I can go.

A chica there told me that 10pm is about the best time, so that sounds like it fits with your schedule.

I also liked the massage parlors in Zona Rosa, but for some absurd reason they seem to all close around 8pm.
