I've just came across this site and I'm pleasantly surprises that there is a such community on the web!!

I have read the threads and would like to thank all who contributed.

I will be arriving in SP on the 27th Jan for 3 days. Just wandering and thanks in advance for any members on the ground during that time willing to show a newbie around. There is much info to be gleaned from the reports but since it's my first time in Brazil (only traveled extensively in China / HK / Macau and Thailand), I wouldn't mind an 'old-hand' to show me the ropes.
