It was because Trump had proven over 4 horrible years that he was too incompetent, too stupid, too corrupt, too lazy, too much of a liar, too much of a con man and too deep in the pocket of our adversaries and enemies to produce any result for America other than the skyrocketing deficits with zero to show for it, alienation of our allies when we needed them most, the dramatic increase in crime, the disastrous economic decisions, cowardice and lies that led directly to Crashing the USA economy, wiping out tens of millions of USA jobs, the mass murder of 750,000+ Americans and the near total destruction of international travel that he so efficiently delivered.
