I spent the past two nights walking around Nana and Sukumvith, as I remember time ago lots of freelancers could be found. The only thing I found was a ton of ladyboys of all types and sizes (some very feminine, but still with a dick in the pants!) and apparently no women around. I am not really a GOGO bar type of person, I don't drink more than 1 beer and I'd only go with friends for a laugh. Also the institution Nana Hotel parking lot was only showcasing ladyboys, while in the past was a good pickup area. Same for the bars down the Nana Plaza soi, they all ask you to buy a drink at the entrance so lot of push even to have a look inside.

Where did all the night freelancers go?

On a separate topic, I found that also daytime around Nana is pretty down. Tried Annies and found out they moved from Soi 2 to Soi 7/1, much smaller place w / o all the historic huge rooms with bathtubs. Also the lineup is pretty poor for a 2000 baths experience. Checked out Casalong and Lolita and ended up fucking a Kasalong cute 22 yo, but she was really the only one doable for me.

Any place I am missing for daytime?

Tonight I'll head to check Wood Bar in Soi 7/1 as reported in one of the report of distinction, I will report here. I understood is kinda of similar to the Soi 6 (Pattaya) bars, which are my favourite since you can sit and perform the squeeze test on the girl while having a relaxed drink. Anything like that in Bangkok?

All in all, not impressed by my first two nights in BKK, shame.

I conspicuouly get hold of a towel and amble to the bathroom where let the shower make itself heard for some time before coming back to the bed. Not great lookers, mind you, but female. Soi 4 all the way down is ground zero for freelancers, plus Soi 11 and the area near Thermae, the rest of Sukhumvit is less busy than in the past. Plastic surgery is cheap and extremely popular in Thailand these days, so many women now give off that that fake hard vibe that ladyboys used to have.

I'm not too impressed by Wood Bar. If you want a BJ bar, I'd try Duangporn's Haven, in a small soi south of Asoke (search Google maps for CityPoint hotel). It's a new location of Som's Haven, a well known BJ bar.

There's a still lot of commotion along Sukhumvit, and it's a great scene for newbies and optimists, but if you have been here in the heyday, you won't be impressed.

Wood bar was empty and 1 lady only around 11 pm.

Lot of people around as it was Friday night, checked out Thermae but ladies were quoting crazy 3-4 k for short time! Some were cute but those numbers I guess only japanese would pay?

Sukumvith still invaded by ladyboy from soi1 to soi 28. Maybe 3-4 ladies in total, only one possibly doable.

African ladies strolling, but I'm not here for black meat.

A couple of couple of really cute ones too. I went up to the rooms which are just but clean and then had a game of pool and a chat a couple of times. After being really well looked after. I had BBBJ and FS finish. So not much info on CIM or swallow girls but they are very friendly.

Can't remember how much but it was very good service and I would not bother going anywhere else. I am back soon and will call in and have a beer and a chat and take a couple of the girls for a spin for sure.

I kept on reading conflicting information about availability of freelancers in Bangkok and Pattaya. Many posters on this forum said it is almost back to pre pendamic levels but whenever I tried to analyze the beach road videos on you tube, I could easily figure out that the numbers are barely 20% of what they used to be.

For the first time in my mongering life, I had to cancel a ticket to Thailand. No use flying to the other side of world just to see mongering world hit by bombs. Its pretty bad in other countries as well.

Looks like we will have to wait few more months for scene to pick up a bit.
