I was thinking of going Nov 20 to 27th to Montreal, am very experienced but first time to Montreal.

Usually in USA I pay 400 to 600 in SA and other places the going market rate.

I am thinking of doing only outcalls to my hotel.

Hotels I was thinking of are Doubletree, Renaissance, Vogue and.

The Doubletree is very central and connected to a mall that has decent restaurants, so you can stay indoors for a lot of things. I usually stay there.

But you might want to consider a coat and gloves and embracing the cold. It won't be that cold in November and Montreal is a great city to explore on foot, including outdoor hiking.

I'm from Boston and I can handle some cold and that weekend it was forecasted to be 30 degrees F which a coat can handle with layers. Nope, Canadian cold feels like 10 degrees F colder. But I agree with Mongerer88 just get a nice warm coat, gloves, hat, and embrace that cold.
