You wrote that you were waiting for some kind of sign, but you could end up waiting for a long time if you're going to rely on that. Might as well wait for signs in the sky. :) Many of these chicas won't show any interest in you until you show interest/intent first, that's just the way they're wired. Just suck up your pride and take that chance, a rejection can sting but at least you know you never had much of a chance anyway and you move on to the next opportunity. But now you're torturing yourself with "what-if?" type questions about this girl. What's worse?

Anyway, it's possible she's just a non-pro, although some of the pics in her profile seemed a bit too sexy for a non-pro to put up. Maybe she's a "grilla," i.e., a girl interested in dating several guys for attention & cash flow. Oh, and if she's 31 and still single with no kids, she's only a little less flaky than a 25-year old. :)

Still, I can understand the reluctance. Hanging out at a hostel in the afternoon is not exactly the right situation to bring up P4P. But you could have asked her out. Her reaction and answer would have given you some insight into whether she's a semi-pro or whatever.

My buddy does not think she is a pro or a part-time pro. Because she did not suggest anything to either one of us during a 2-hour drinking and dancing "date" during the afternoon. She could have easily surmised that we would have wanted to be with her. My God. Who wouldn't.

So, the mystery is still unsolved. Any one of you who has a Gold membership on Latin American Cupid can contact her. Maybe I should offer some sort of prize to anyone who can give me a definitive answer. Be it "yes" or "no. "

I did not think about questioning her online before I went down to MDE. As I have stated before, I am a rookie.

I would have at least invited her back to my place to continue the party there. Her reaction to that would answer the question.

One night I was at Tu Candela disco in Cartagena. The place was hoppin and many, many girls were obvious full time or part time hookers. Two girls standing right next to me started partying and dancing with me. Even though they told me they were in CTG for vacation I thought they were surely P4P so I invited them back to my place. They clammed up so fast I was stunned. Only later did I learn that straight girls and working girls both go to that disco.

The only additional advice I would give about Sair is to be more up-front if you ever see her face to face again. I don't know how you could address it in writing now. Unless she does something rude or crude, I like you, would err on the side of politeness. It has nothing to do with "fear". (A recurring theme for some I frankly don't comprehend.) It's my nature.

Workers at the club said it was owned by Glen Buzzetti, but Buzzetti was not named as a partner or owner of Dollhouse.

W Radio reports that Buzzetti allegedly had a conflict with an unnamed U.S. citizen who lent him a significant amount of money. The U.S. citizen later sent three men to claim the money, saying they worked for "Office of Envigado," a local criminal organization.

Dollhouse is currently closed for "remodeling" and will reportedly be opened under new management and a new name.

The investigation by the Colombian intelligence service is ongoing.

Hi Big Risa,

if I were you I would use a different hotel, for a couple of reasons:

- The Dann Carlton in Bogota once not only included the "guest charge" for a client I had supplied with a girl on the bill, they also included THE NAME OF THE GIRL! When the client complained they argued that "their system" doesn't allow them to take it out.

- The service is just pityful. It's probably the hotel with the worst service/price ration. They just don't give a rats ass about their clients.

- Their hotels seem very antiquated and out-of-fashion to me. They might have been posh when Palbo Escobar was still around, but these days...

This Friday afternoon I was at Cafe Colombia in Parque Lleras. I saw one incredibly hot chick that looked like a non-pro. However, five minutes later two girls dressed like they where pros from the majorista sat with her. My question is where can I find pros in el Parque Lleras?

I saw prepagos there every night. How do I know? I went there with my own and she pointed them out to me. If you are not sure, befriend the bar tender. Ask him if he knows of any chicas that like hanging out with gringos.

Labor is cheap as it is! An expat told me what sounded as more probable. The chicas were asking for outrageous prices.. 300-400k.. $200 rooms.. US prices for drinks. Near the end they turned it into a casa to try to recoup some money. They got scared and bailed.

It just didnt make any money, in fact, it was loosing money.

All these investigations are probley true and ongoing but you carnt get away from the fact that it was loosing money and how long can you keep putting your hand in your pocket.

If you go back and read my post earlier, I gave it 6 months.
