Shibuya, Kabukicho, Shin-Okubo
Checked out Dogenzaka in Shibuya based on previous reports-- the Chinese touts, both male and female, are out in force, and it looks like they are very gaijin-friendly. Around 11pm they are aggressively going up to everyone in sight, saying "gaijin ok. " Didn't take them up on any offers, but instead went to Shinjuku and Kabukicho. Touts here are offering full-service to gaijin, but probably over-priced. One promised a "soapland experience" for gaijin, but I didn't take him up on it. The touts here are also very aggressive, one guy followed me for several blocks. Apparently Ishihara's crackdown is not affecting their business, or is making them more aggressive.Went to Shin-Okubo, in the dark alleys near "Monbijou" love hotel, and there are at least a dozen streetwalkers loitering around there. Mostly South American-looking, old and haggard-- I didn't stay around to chat with them. Some Chinese older girls as well. Met one young Chinese girl, agreed on FS for Y20, 000. She was very professional and gave good service, and acted like a club hostess, flattering me about the size of my.--- and my general manliness. Very girly. Total damage: Y23, 000, including love hotel.I realize FS can be had for cheaper, but I felt like wandering around and picking out a provider. Hope this helps somebody.
