Mine has been well over 90% in both Tohoku and all over northern Kyushu. Problem for many members of this board is lack of Japanese language skills, which means they have zero chance of using DH. Those of us who've made the effort to learn the language of the land have multitudes of options the others don't. And this is admittedly speculation on my part, but I think that those of us who speak and understand the language are more likely to be civilized and not cause problems simply because we have become more a part of the culture. Mongering should always be done alone or with a Japanese-speaking assistant. Showing up in a group of two or more is real stupid and probably the number one reason that those "No Foreigners" signs show up. 3. Poor grooming. Show up stinking like a skunk, unshaven or unbathed and you just reinforce the stereotype of the stinky foreigner. 4. Bad attitude. Some assholes get courage from drinking, others just act like they are owed something. Too many don't know how to behave in Japan. Whatever it is, it ruins it for us. 5. Unrealistic expectations.
